Hi,
If your computer contains it, this might work,
Go to Device Manager.
Find System Devices then Intel Management Engine Interface.
open its properties. then on Power Management tab.
Uncheck "Allow computer to turn off this device to save power.  then

Hello,
Does anyone know of a good but easy way of using Footnotes in Word
with JAWS? I have to write a few things where I'll need to footnote or
document my sources, like title
and page number.
I don't remember what that looks like from school. Does Word have an
area you can use for footnotes, like you do for headers? Does it work
using JAWS?

In my last message, I was unclear. They recommend that Fast Startup be turned off. When it is on, this can interfere with all components shutting down.

several seconds? Also, can you check your power settings to see if
something has changed?

Well I think regarding physical limitations only, 99.9% of people can use a touch screen,
I could use one with my nose, my tongue, or even my toe if I had to.
So when folks say they cannot, it is not for physical reasons IMO.
But for me, I like the iPhone for apps, not for a phone.
I like the simplicity of a flip phone.
But if folks feel they cannot learn to use a touch screen, or just like me, prefer a flip phone, I get that.
But I find it hard to accept that some folks cannot use a touch screen, unless they have other disabilities other than physical.
But we are all different, and I look forward to always having options.

Also it seems that NVDA navigates more smoothly in iTunes if compared with JAWS. I tried backing up my iPhone using JAWS on iTunes and it is not as smooth tabbing around the menu compared to if using NVDA.

That isn't jaws problem to fix.  Alt does not bring up the menu in itunes.  If you want the menu, hold alt and press one of the first letter options like f.  You can then arrow down through the file menu, or arrow over to whatever menu you want.

I found the same issue on my Mac with Safari, but was able to use the accessible page with Firefox. So, perhaps changing browsers will help.

Anyone have recommendations on talking flip phones?

BTW, finally, when I was put into a chat window I didn't like, I took that opportunity to type in a complaint about their page with a screenreader.

Isn't that ironic?

I found the same issue on my Mac with Safari, but was able to use the accessible page with Firefox. So, perhaps changing browsers will help.

Have you considered the blind shell classic 2 phone?  If you want more information about this particular phone, Call the people at,  AT guies.

Hi, Albert, It's always been and is now, CONTROL plus SHIFT plus DELETE, while in Chrome. Just let the page open, and clear Browsing data, and all else you want cleared.
