Remote Desktop

Hi, I thought that when in Remote Desktop you could lock the input Window by using Control+Shift+ the Break key. That is not obviously the correct key. I cannot find it in the Remote Access help section so I’m now asking nicely if anyone can help me out.

Yes, there's a lag. On Alexa, I use Tune in live which has a bit of a lag.

On my iPhone, I use Game Day NFL and Game Day NBA. I also use Tune in Radio Pro for College and NFL but that is a paid subscription.

Has anyone else noticed a massive lag between the game happening and tunein's coverage since they brought it back? I expect some lag but this is around 15-20 minutes. One website that works for most teams is free-sportsradio.com

What we do is find the call letters of the radio station who carries the particular broadcast. We then have our smart speaker play that station. It has worked for us for Chicago Bears and Western Michigan Broncos. Lee Anne

Re: What program is best when it comes to making a system image?
I absolutely hate, "What is the best . . .," questions about anything because best is really very subjective.
Macrium Reflect is a very good tool, its free version is more than adequate for any home user (and many small business users, thought they cannot use it under the license terms), and I wrote a tutorial about using it with a screen reader: Using Macrium Reflect Free with a Screen Reader
There are very precious few backup and recovery options that are accessible on the recovery side, and those I know about are paid. I don't even worry about the recovery side as very few people DIY the recovery. But because the recovery virtually always is in an environment that is not Windows, there's no screen reader support for it, much like there is not for UEFI/BIOS. But having a backup for anyone to recover from, including yourself with sighted assistance if the need arises, is vastly preferable to losing everything or having to pay hundreds of dollars, minimum, to send a failed HDD out to a data recovery facility. And at this time recovery fees for SSDs is at least double to triple what it costs to recover a HDD. -- Brian - Windows 10, 64-Bit, Version 21H1, Build 19043 It is the function of creative men to perceive the relations between thoughts, or things, or forms of expression that may seem utterly different, and to be able to combine them into some new forms--the power to connect the seemingly unconnected. ~ William Plomer

All my credit cards I have here in Canada allow me to download transactions in CSV format which can then be easily opened in Excel. I still download PDF statements for archiving, but rarely use them for looking up transactions since I will also download all the transactions for a given statement in Excel format.

They brought it back this year at some point at the roughly $10 per month premium account. I listen to NFL games on GameDay Audio for a one time cost of $1.99. Yes, you have to try different stations, but for the games I have wanted to hear this year, it has always worked. He also has a College GameDay audio for $1.99 that allows listening to College football at least, which is all the college sports I want to hear. I've used the GameDay football app for several years on that one-time cost of $1.99. I bought the college one last year when TuneiN stopped streaming college games for free. They still offer a premium subscription. I've been listening to the games that are only on NFL network, and I've listened to some college games. I've also been getting notifications about the MLB playoffs, and an alert that the NHL season is starting. For a sports fan who doesn't mind listening to games, it's a great option.

I have had very good luck making a full system image backup and restoring my laptop after installing a new solid state drive with the free version of Macrium Reflect. You have to use the JAWS cursor occasionally for navigation but accessibility is quite good.

As has been stated Bank of America is fairly accessible. Capital One is also easy to use and accessible. Once you decide on which card to apply for, you can always call and apply over the phone rather than online.
