It just happened, and I tried James' suggestion of pressing Alt + Tab to leave chrome and then Alt + Tab to go back to chrome. It worked. Thanks James. Does anyone know why it works?

Sorry to join this thread a bit late.  I too have experienced problems with JAWS interacting with Chrome.  The arrow keys work fine to navigate the page but any of the other keys like the number 2 or letter h does not work.  My only fix is to close and restart JAWS.  Annoying?  Yes.  In the grand scheme of life this is fairly minor.  Although a reliable fix wouldn't hurt!😊

Here is what I notice with JAWS and Chrome.

 

1. Oftentimes, Chrome takes a while to bring up a page. Pressing INSERT+T gives you Chrome untitled.
2. When the page actually does come up, I routinely press Numpad Plus to hear JAWS say Virtual Cursor. This is my confirmation that I can now use some of the JAWS shortcut commands to navigate through the page.
3. Otherwise, JAWS with Chrome is working fairly well for me.

We can do this two ways. You can let me know what you use JetPack for and I list the Plugins I am using. Or I could list all the plugins I use, including those that I have found improve the speed and performance of WordPress.

I know they say don’t use too many plugins but I have found a much better performance with several plugins to using JetPack.

I have found JetPack to be a resource hungry plugin. It will slow your WordPress site down, a lot. I would look at alternatives, as you won’t need most of the features of JetPack.

If you have a Wordpress Website, I highly recommend Jetpack CRM. It is currently free for a year I believe, and is very accessible with JAWS.

If not, I don’t know, but I integrated it with my web store.

It can be used on a computer, but I have struggled with it for the time or two I have tried.  I ended up having my sister fix things via TeamViewer.  Then we had to close TeamViewer since it apparently was a cause of another issue.

I will be playing with this tonight, but was wondering if anyone has been successful at using Webex with JAWS. Some of the parts seem accessible, from what I have begun noticing, while others (like scheduling meetings) not so much.

I’m looking for JAWS commands. What I wasn’t sure about was whether this was more of a computer or a phone app. I would imagine it can be used on both devices.

I literally just downloaded it a few minutes ago, as I will need to use it for some things in a few days and want to become familiar with it.

If you have any suggestions or thoughts on the app, I’d be interested in communicating.
