Hi Richard, I have gone to your webpage and tried to access the link to Jeff’s page but it doesn’t appear to be working. I went from your webpage as well as a link you sent to the list but neither way I can get into it. I get a message about an incorrect address. Is this just me or is the site no longer around?
Thanks. From Shaz. Canberra, Australia.

Re: Setting Up RSS Feeds
Tom,
The page listing all of the NWS RSS Feeds and Podcasts is: https://www.weather.gov/rss I don't know exactly what report or region you're looking for. The type of report is generally covered in the links on that page, and once you activate the one you want the specific RSS URLs for that type of report are presented on the page that comes up. On this site the URLs for the actual feeds end in .XML. The use of the XML extension is very common. I think that .RSS is used often as well, but not there. -- Brian - Windows 10, 64-Bit, Version 21H1, Build 19043 It is better to be hated for what you are than to be loved for what you are not. ~ André Gide

Re: [External] Audio described movie web site.
Richard Turner <richardturner42@...>
The below is from my web site:Audio Description resourcesThe American council of the Blind maintains the most up-to-date list of programs with Audio Description (also known as Video Description.) Here are some direct links to some popular lists. Disney Plus titles with description Apple TV Plus shows with Audio DescriptionBroadcast TV with Audio Description Movies in the theater or on DVD with audio Description Netflix shows with audio Description UK TV show Schedules Amazon prime audio described Movies and TV shows iTunes audio described Movies and TV showsOther resources for Audio DescriptionDescribed Movies from JeffJeff Rutkowski is someone who has provided a lot of movies and TV shows audio files for live streaming or downloading. Here is the first paragraph from his web site followed by the link. Audio VaultAudio Vault is another site that is also linked from Jeff Rutkowski's page, but here is the direct link. Note, you have to sign up for a free account to download described audio files from the Audio Vault, much like
the way the Blind Mice Movie Vault works, only easier. Blind Mice Mega Mall Movie VaultOnce you have established a free account you can go directly to the Movie Vault where they have MP3 files of movie soundtracks with audio description. Most TV's now have the ability to turn on the Audio Description channel, often it is the Secondary Audio Programing feature under the audio controls. If your TV does not have that, check with your cable company about how to access their content with audio description. If you are an xFinity customer you can call their accessibility help desk: 855-270-0379 If you have an iPhone, go to Settings, General, Accessibility. In the section titled Media, you can enable Subtitles and Captioning. Only enable that if you want VoiceOver reading the captions. The next item is Audio Descriptions, it defaults to off, double tap to turn it on using VoiceOver. This way, things you stream with audio description should play the audio description automatically. Some services will require you to select description from the audio controls within their app. Richard

Good morning,
In France, there is a lac of audio dscribed movies on Disney plus. Fox movies are not described.
De : main@jfw.groups.io <main@jfw.groups.io> De la part de Sieghard Weitzel
And while I am not saying it's a perfect world, I think the fact that just about everything which is released on Netflix and Disney nowadays is audio described is pretty cool.

Actually Sieghard, he did provide a link. It is a petition to make all films, TV, etc., with audio description. Not to be a killjoy, but this has been being asked for over many, many years.

If these methods don’t work, try turning on the JAWS cursor, locating the button with that cursor, then pressing Jaws key+the PC key. This used to work often, but less so lately.
Then if that fails, try the touch cursor, shift-PC key and locating the button in case pressing enter works.
It crosses my mind that turning off JAWS and going with Narrator might be an option, but I’ve never tried it.
Little is more frustrating than going through an entire form, only for the last button not to work with a screenreader.

Have you tried using a different browser to see if the results are the same? Also, after pressing spacebar or enter on the confirmation button try pressing, Insert + escape, to refresh / repaint the screen and see if that'll help. I've found that on many websites the chromium browsers are slow to respond to key commands.

Hi, all, I am on a website trying to set up a date and time for a phone interview. I was able to choose the date, and then it gave a list of times available for that date. There is a definite button for each date to choose, but when I enter on the one I want it doesn’t confirm it. I’ve tried actually selecting it and pressing enter and a few other things but nothing works. Any help is appreciated in advance. Using win 10, jaws 2019. Judy & Libby

I have gotten confirmation buttons to work by turning off virtual mode, Insert+Z, and then navigating to the confirmation button with the tab key and hitting enter on it, again, with virtual mode turned off.
