HI All,

I want to do my taxes myself.  What accessible online tools that can guide me on doing my taxes are out there?  I have simple tax needs right now so I thought I’d do them myself instead of paying someone.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am using Windows Mail, on a Windows ten laptop with JAWS 21.

Hello, Ms. Kirtley. Which mail client are you using to get your email? Or are you using a web browser to read your email through gmail on the web? This will make a difference when trying to tell you how to delete the messages.

I have thousands of deleted messages in my trash folder.  When I select all and hit delete or shift delete, they don’t go away.  Can anyone help?

Gmail scans all incoming messages, whether you've opened them or not, when these features are enabled and behaves accordingly.  I must admit that the probability of receiving something that triggered that sort of automatic event creation "by accident" is virtually zero.  This was an exception condition triggered by someone doing what I frequently beg people to do:  providing an actual example of what they're talking about.  This message would have been indistinguishable from the one sent to the original questioner as far as Gmail's scanning algorithm is concerned.

I presume that meant Win10, Version 2004.  There are still a lot of folks who've not updated (or not been updated) to 20H2.
