Hello hello.

Click the link that says "unfriend". It should be near the bottom of the
page that you will see when you go to a person's timeline by activating the
link attached to their name.

Good afternoon everyone,  I’m writing this question too all of you that are on list,  Because I’ve noticed the following.  It seems that when I go to the title bar for outlook for office 365 and read the title too see if the outlook window is maximized,  It just says outlook untitled.  It doesn’t give you any indication as to whether or not, that the outlook window is indeed,  maximized.

Also, when I go to the outlook properties icon that is on my desktop, and tab to where it gives you the option to run the  outlook window to a maximized state, when I attempt to too the okay button, it tells me that I need to have administrative privileges to perform this action.  When I called to ask the jaws tech who answered the phone call, I was told that I would have to call the Microsoft disability answer desk too solve this problem.  Do any of you might have  answer or suggestion about this?

Thanks in advance,  Al

I think I use either the JAWS cursor or, better yet, do insert alt w to virtualize the window, then arrow down through it.

Hi: I'm using Windows 10 with Jaws. When I try to read in the properties page (with only certain files) the date a file was modified or created, it is blank, although jaws will tell me the access date, size etc.
Is there any way to read or get access to those dates? Thanks.

When you click on "Contact Us" and read a bit beyond the web form which as you pointed out also requires a captcha which has no audio feature, the following information is provided:

Hong Kong Office:
Rm 906, Chinachem Golden Plaza,
Tsim Sha Tsui East, Kowloon, Hong Kong
Tel: 852 2314 7378
Fax: 852 3167 1236
Email: collecta@...

UK Address:
Wisteria House, Clarendon Road,
South Woodford, London,
E18 2AW, United Kingdom

EU Address:
St Kevin's,
Dublin 2, D02 XE80,
Ireland

While the UK and EU offices only list an address, there is an email address given for the Hong Kong office so I would simply write to that email and complain about the inaccessible captcha. Whether it will do any good or not is a different question, but you can either accept it and ask for sighted assistance to sign up for the newsletter or email them and ask if they couldn't make it more accessible.

There's no checkbox or anything, no option for an audio challenge or anything, just a link to re-set the code. I've tried signing up for this using Edge, Firefox and Google Chrome, and I even tried turning on Narrator and I still wasn't able to read the validation code, and I don't have a smartphone. Any idea how I might be able to read this code, or am I going to have to get sighted help? I can provide the link if that would help... Really hope someone can help me!!!!!! 3. The paid services of Aira, again with the use of a smart phone with a camera.

If you looked at the site it should be clear that first of all you need to register, secondly they clearly state "No video is hosted on this site. Nobody profits from this endeavour. It operates on donations from the small userbase purely in order to maintain the site."

Furthermore there is a "Support the AudioVault" link which allows you to make a donation via PayPal so you can donate a couple of bucks, $20 or $100, I'm sure if all they are looking for are donations to pay for the server, the cost of the domain and so on any donation of even $2 or $5 is welcome and if 100 people donate $5 then this probably goes a long way towards covering their cost.

Best regards,

The other thing that seems to be an issue, although I didn’t spend a lot of time trying to figure it out since I couldn’t actually record, is the availability of content on my slides. So, it doesn’t seem like I can have access to my slide content to read while I’m actually doing the recording.

Other than the blind mice movie vault, what were the other jaws accessible movie descriptive web sites?

I am about to sign up for or contribute wherever I need to.

Thanks,

Justin

Hello again Paul, and others,

The link you gave me is now on my web site.

Thanks for letting me know about this.

I don’t mean to be a US only site, so this is helpful.

Hi,

thanks for sharing the website, it’s now saved to my bookmarks as there seems a lot of helpful information on there. Not sure if you are interested but one other audio description resource I use a lot personally is a Website which shows a list of all the UK Freeview TV channels and their audio described shows  and movies for the coming week, if you are interested I’ll put a link to it below:

I have a section on my web site with Audio description resources, including the ones you know plus links to tv listings, movies, you can purchase through Amazon; and one resource I have not seen mentioned yet.
