You can also press F6 which puts focus on the sheet tab at the bottom, then press application key and "R" for rename. The application menu here also allows you to insert sheets, delete them or copy/move them.

For what it’s worth, I find the same thing when trying to use the Alt A command for muting and unmuting your audio when in a Zoom meeting.

You have to have focus in the right window for the command to work consistently.

What I find distracting while on a Zoom call is that the application opens more than one window. My guess is that you need to be in the right window for alt-y to work or to find the alternative you’re seeking here.

Is there an easy way to find the Raise/Lower hand meeting control in the Participants panel using Zoom Meetings client for Windows? I know that the shortcut ALT+Y can be used. But is there an easy way using JAWS to navigate to the actual meeting control? Sometimes when using ALT+Y, I hear the error sound, as if ALT+Y is not focusing on the actual meeting control.

Thank you.

Hi, when do you have open the E mail use insert plus a and then application or right mouse key to save attachment. Under file menu you can also do save attachments.

Try pressing f6 after opening when you get that message until you find something that says enable editing, or warning, files from the internet may be dangerous, etc.

Hit enable editing if you trust the source, but only if you are certain it is from a trusted source.

This is a serious problem. I’ve been using Zoom for the last 8 months with Jaws 2020 and Jaws 2021, and this problem has persisted  since then. In my personal case though, this happens to me with different combination keys, such as alt plus r to record a meeting, or even alt plus a to open  / close my Microphone.

Hi Adrian/Bill/all,

Since its last update, zoom seems to be in great mess, with the more crucial the inability to use alt-y to have hands raised. We experienced that in a course on teams, which is conducted via zoom. I have also found some other annoying minor things, but hope all this will vanish soon.

OK, it did work.  It is just confusing, because JAWS just said what is in the focused cell after hitting Enter on the Rename menu choice.

Marty,

It does work. To rename a sheet, select the option from that context menu. Have a fairly beefy Windows 10 desktop for my wife.  Loaded Jaws 2020 on there.  Whenever I go to a browser if you scroll down before the whole page is loaded the site will automatically pop back up to the top of the page and will unprovoked bounce around the website sometimes as well .  Also, there are some  red boxes that seem to be bouncing around mostly in input boxes on the websites as well.  I have checked CPU, Memory, Disk and network utilization while this is happening and nothing goes above 50% utilization so it is not a resource issue.  Using Windows defender.  These issues are not there when Jaws is not running.  Any Ideas on what I can look for to fix this?  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
