Switch has a free non commercial home use version.  When you download and install, you are asked to verify that you are using as a non-commercial home user each time that you open Switch.

You might also try using the key combination control/shift v which takes you to your folder tree.  If the files you want are in this list just arrow to where you want to put the email and hit enter.  If not, arrow up to the top of the tree and essentially repeat the steps you take to move from one email to the other using your arrows.  Once you are in the email account you want arrow to target file and hit enter and voila.

It's probably possible to use first (single letter) navigation strokes  to get you to the move command through the ribbons.

If both of these accounts are in your outlook program, you can open each of the messages, one-by-one, and when open, hit alt key, go to file and down to info. Hit enter on info and then enter on move message. When you have done this, pick the other email address folder you choose to save these in. Feel free to contact me off list, I will be glad to help so not to overwhelm everybody with too many messages.

Madison,

Someone else will have to advise on importing your existing messages from your old email into the Gmail account.  The only way I know of to do this is forwarding them, and if the archive is extensive that's just not practical.  I generally do what you said, and that's keep the old account dormant, forwarding all new messages to where I want them to be, but having the archive of existing messages available for my reference when I might need to do that.  It keeps my new account "cleaner" from the outset.

When you delete a message from any account and it goes into trash it will retain the same read/unread status it had at the moment of deletion.  In the end, that really doesn't matter, as trash gets purged of messages that reach 30 days old regardless of their read or unread status.  Outlook does allow you to change how quickly a message is marked as read once you open it (and you do have to open it), but if the intention is not to open these messages, which I'd have to presume it is, then just delete them in unread state and forget about them.  Trash is trash.

Hi John,

There are two versions of iTunes available. The newest one is the iTunes app you can download from Microsoft Store. You can still download the older one from the Apple homepage, that's right, but this version - at least as far as I know - will not developed further any more. So sooner or later you will be forced to change to the new app

You've probably heard of Windows 10 S, the OS version allowing only installations of apps from Microsoft Store. In this article:

you can read that Windows 10 S was leading Apple to develop the Microsoft Store version. By the way, the benefit of using the app from Microsoft Store is a clean install. If you install the old native app you will get services from Apple installed too, for example Bonjour.

Because all of this I tried the Microsoft Store app first.

Best wishes

Marianne,

The easiest way is the method that’s been mentioned a couple  times where you select the lines you want and hit tab.   You could also set the indent under paragraph settings, but I think this is more cumbersome of a process than just tabbing for a one off document.   You said you’d used tab, but if you select all the lines first, that will at least save you the time of tabbing each line individually.   And if  you know you’ll write a letter again, you can certainly do this once, then just save the document so you can open it again next time you need a letter with yoru address.

I don’t know if this still works, but it did when I could still see.  Type the address then select all of it by hitting Shift + Down Arrow once for each line of the address.  Then press Tab and the whole address should move across the page as you keep pressing the Tab Key until it bumps against the Right margin.  If you go to far, new lines will appear.  Just press Shift Tab until the original number of lines in your address are present.

Hi Marianne,
You want to select the lines you want aligned to the left first, and then do control L
and then you can do the same with the right and control R.
Or you can do the entire document one way first by selecting all with control A and then specific lines you can select and move as described above.

If I understand what you are trying to do correctly then one way to do this is to create a 2 column table in Word stretching across the whole width of the page, assuming that this  is the word processor that you are using.

You may want to check the properties of the table to make sure that grid lines of the table are not visible.

This will enable you to position  an address or any text on the right side of a page and you can have this text in this column either left or right aligned.

Provided you have the table grid line invisible this provides a neat layout.

I have used this method in the past to place my own address details in column 1, left aligned, and the address I am sending to in the second column right aligned. I am told this looks professional.

Hi, Tammy. The first thing I would try is a JAWS repair. You will need the installer file for JAWS 2020. If that doesn't work, I will write to you privately, and, if you are in the U.S. or Canada, I can call you, do a tandem with your computer, and figure out why it's not reading your dialogs.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to how to resolve this?

Any help would be appreciated!

If what I said does not help my approach would be to let a sighted person look at what you wrote and see if visually the spaces are there, if so I would assume it's something weird going on with how Jaws interprets the text on tehe screen and maybe calling Jaws support might be helpful otherwise Microsoft Accessibility might also be able to help.

I am not sure about Chrome or Firefox. However, Microsoft Edge has a
feature called emersive reader. You click the f9 key and you can either
scroll down to the beginning of an article and read using the screen

read the article without the adds. You should be able to copy and paste

I understand your frustration very much as I sometimes feel very similar.
But unfortunately the problem is much more complex than just writing a few
scripts.

In principle, it works like this: The manufacturer of an operating system
sets the guidelines by determining which interfaces are available for screen
readers. The latest interface, for example, which is also used by all
applications from the Microsoft Store, is called UIA. Windows does provide
some support for standard controls out of the box, but this is not quite
enough for the screen reader to be able to handle them. For example, it is
up to the developer of applications to name the controls correctly, to
provide help texts or to give unique names to controls so that they can be
found on the screen via script.

And now imagine that an application uses its own components and these
components do not support these technologies. For example, any application
can draw a picture, put a frame around it and claim that is a button. But it
is not. And if the corresponding interfaces are not integrated by the
developer, it is not even possible to get informations such as the name.

Out of curiosity, I downloaded the iTunes application from the Microsoft
Store yesterday. Some things could certainly be adapted and extended through
scripts. But when I look at the table, for example, where all the albums and
songs are displayed, no information is provided by the program itself. This
information is visible on the screen for sighted people, but the screen
reader cannot determine anything here. To my opinion either Freedom
Scientific nor scripters out there couldn't do anything, perhaps implant
some function to OCR the control or similar things. But these are hacks and
tricks and don't ground on the accessibility framework from Microsoft and
the correct implantation of this framework from the developer.

Hi yes you are all correct apple has made no attempts to make their
itues software accessible with JAWS!

One solution I would do if you have aira is have them help you by
having aira log into the computer with team viewer and then telling the
aria agent what you ant to do for example moving music from widnwos
into itues and then having them transfer it to your iphone or ipdad.

I know most of you want to do thsi independently but Apple will not
make any changes to their program.

Unfortunately, if you have a mac then it works properly, howveer most
people wnat a pc and they should make changes to. I wonder if we should
all write apple and demand they fix this.

I know the NFB sued apple for accessability and maybe it's time for
that to hapen again or the acb necds to put a fire uncder them!

I hope this heops.

It does seem that Freedom Scientific could spend more time configuring JAWS to work with more commercial programs, or Apple could make their programs accessible, but there are some incredibly talented script writers out there that I am sure, could put something together that would make iTunes a little more screen reader friendly. How about it anyone?

How do
