The generic answer:  Yes.

The remaining questions:  A specific folder in what e-mail client.  How one sets up filters differs depending on the client.
Are you using a Gmail account?  If so you should set up your filtering and labels (which are implemented as IMAP folders in an email client) in the Gmail web interface, then it's taken care of no matter what email client ends up being used.

'If you are using Outlook, it has the ability to create rules that would automatically move emails from a particular address into a folder and you can assign a different sound to those messages.
You would want to create a folder first, but this is at a level that would be hard to write out instructions for.
Microsoft accessibility would likely help you with this.

Yes, that is a good idea.

I have run across sites like this where there is something that needs to be clicked on next to the edit field that won’t open.  This usually then opens up a calendar where the date can be chosen.

Clarence,

Do you have a smart phone, such as an iPhone?  I highly recommend using AIRA service for these frustrating website issues.  You can get 5 minutes of personal assistance every few hours. They also used to have a promotion for free support to job seekers; I don’t know if that is still going.  Look at the www.aira.io website.  Essentially, you load an app on your phone that allows you to call into a set of trained personal, visual assistants who can use your phone camera to see what is going on and guide you.  You can additionally load a program on your computer that will allow the assistant to access your computer to actually do tasks for you, but this is not necessary.  I’ve used the service on some applications at work that are not fully accessible with JAWS.

When the Blind Mice Mall Movie Vault uses direct download it works great.

If you have to use the free SendSpace download it is a pain.

If you buy a subscription for say 1 month to the high speed download
with Sendspace, it works well.

As for other sites, I know of none that have mp3 files with audio
description like what Blind Mice Mall offers.

Then, you are left with finding movie or TV shows for rent or purchase
that include Audio Description or subscribing to services like Netflix
who provide audio description on all their original content, or Disney
Plus which offers a lot of movies and series with audio description.

The best source for finding out what shows have audio description is
through ACB.

Press CTRL alt and whatever number you want. For example, 1 for heading 1 text and 2 for heading 2 text. You can press the above hotkey either before or after typing your text. Just know that after you type text you want in heading xxx, you have to of course select it before pressing above hotkey.

It works fine.

Even when I get the notifications, I go to: www.freedomscientific.com/downloads/jaws and get the whole package anyway.

I find sometimes updating while Jaws is running is not a smooth experience, so I also unload Jaws when I run the .exe file.

Not sure if anyone has noticed, when in Microsoft Teams and using ctrl+2 to bring up the chat list, you can arrow down and if you want to remove one of the chats, there is a hide option if you arrow down.  It is the one after the mute option.

JAWS seems to read some random things at the beginning when you arrow to the option as below:

Probably because JAWS Version 2021.2012.57.400 is an incremental update.

That way you can decide if you want to install it or not.

You can read the details on What’s new on the downloads web site.

Jaws comes out with almost monthly updates to add features or fix minor bugs.

It is a nice change from the days when they charged money for each incremental update.

Under:

Enhancements in JAWS 2021.2012.57 (January 19, 2021)

•  A new feature was introduced earlier this month, designed to let a user change the volume of JAWS speaking or the system volume itself using a layered keystroke:

The following is a list of improvements made between the initial 2021 release and the January 2021 update.

New Layered Keystrokes for Adjusting JAWS and System Volume

Many users working with conferencing applications like Zoom and Teams have raised the issue of JAWS volume blocking their ability to hear a meeting or webinar while trying to navigate in other applications. To solve this issue, we have introduced a new feature that lets you easily adjust the volume of JAWS independently from the volume in other applications, such as Zoom, Teams, Skype, YouTube, or other apps that play audio.

JAWS and Fusion now offer a set of layered keystrokes for quickly adjusting volume. To access this layer, press INSERT+SPACEBAR, followed by V. Next, press J to control the volume of JAWS speech or S to control the main system volume. After pressing J or S, use the ARROW keys to raise or lower the volume in small increments, or PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN to raise or lower the volume in larger increments. Press ESC to exit the layer when finished. Volume changes remain in effect until you later adjust them using the same commands.

Note: When adjusting volume with the ARROW keys or PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN, the lowest level that can be set is 10 percent.

In the latest versions of Chrome, autocomplete is handled in the You and Google Pane, Sync & Google Services control

1. Open Chrome Settings, ALT+F,S

2. Navigate to the You and Google Pane (which is actually where you should have landed when Settings opens), and once in the Pane itself navigate to Sync & Google Services control, and activate it

3. Navigate to the toggle for, Autocomplete searches and URLs, and toggle it off.

This will not prevent the "previously visited" list from appearing beneath the address bar as you type, but it prevents anything from autocompleting in the address bar itself as you type.

You will need to be in JAWS 2021

I do have my jaws notification set to notify me when an  update  is ready too b   installed.  But in this instance, I had too go to a  link that a list member  sent too install it.

Hi all,

Not sure if anyone has noticed, when in Microsoft Teams and using ctrl+2 to bring up the chat list, you can arrow down and if you want to remove one of the chats, there is a hide option if you arrow down.  It is the one after the mute option.

JAWS seems to read some random things at the beginning when you arrow to the option as below:

.st0{opacity:.74} Hide ‑

When I am searching for something using google chrome, it tries to predict what I am searching for and it is usually right but I’d like to not have any suggestion.  How can I stop that from happening?

Last question:  I’d like to create a signature and would like to know how.  I am using JAWS 2021, windows ten, and a laptop.

Thanks in advance.

Check your notification settings.  The new version itself will not cause you to not receive notifications.

It works fine.

Even when I get the notifications, I go to: www.freedomscientific.com/downloads/jaws and get the whole package anyway.

I find sometimes updating while Jaws is running is not a smooth experience, so I also unload Jaws when I run the .exe file.

But, to each his or her own.
