An easier way to change accounts, depending on your setup, is while in the inbox of your main account, press controrol+y then you can either use first letter navigation or arrow down. I have four email accounts, three of which start with the letter r,  so I press control+y and hit r, and the first thing I land on is the RSS folder, so I press r again, and I'm on the next account which says closed. Right arrow to open, then down arrow to inbox and press enter. If you want to leave that account open, repeat control+y and use first letter navigation to get to the next or cycle back to the main account.
If you want to close that one, after control+y left arrow until it is closed, and then first letter navigation or up arrow, etc.

Hi, if by disabling headings you mean to reverse any change that you could
have make to a header line, and going back to the normal style, the
keystroke you're looking for is control plus shift plus n. At least, this is
the combination that works for me in Word 2019, of course, you have to
select the header line first.

Hi Maria and all,

My response is relevant for Microsoft Outlook in its Microsoft 365 app version. I can’t determine if it will be the same for Microsoft Outlook 2019, 2016 or any other.

So, here is how I do it in the Outlook 365 app which is installed on my computer.

First, in the main Outlook window, i.e. the window which is displayed as soon as Outlook is open, and which displays the list of messages for a selected folder, I first ensure that the folders pane is visible.

For this, I press the <alt> key in order to focus on the upper ribbon and then right arrows until “View” is selected.

As soon as I hear “View”, I press the down arrow in order to navigate to the lower ribbon. In this ribbon, I press the <tab> key as many times as needed to hear “Layout submenu”. Then, I press <enter> to open this menu.

The first option should be “Folder pane”. If it is not the case, press the up or down arrow until you hear “Folder pane”.

Then, I press the right arrow and then, I navigate in the “Folder pane” submenu with up or down arrow until I hear “Normal”. If I do not hear “Checked” just after “Normal”, I press the <enter> key to check it. If I hear “Normal checked”, I press the <escape> key in order to avoid unchecking it.

Now, I’m hopefully back to the main window. Then, if you are focused on the messages list, press <ctrl+shift+tab> or <shift+f6> to focus to the folder pane. This is a tree view in which your accounts are at level 0 and their folders are at subsequent levels. In order to switch among your accounts, just navigate in this tree view like you would in any other tree view.

HTH, Have a nice day and happy new year to all. Chris D

I would recommend you use Google Chrome with Docs, although Edge may work;
I've never tried to use it with Docs, but yes when you go into the document,
make sure that you turn off the virtual cursor by pressing insert Z.

A cool thing is that when you are muted, if you hold down the spacebar you are unmuted till you release the spacebar. So you can leave the computer unmuted, in case you can't find the stinkin' button, and hold down the spacebar to allow yourself to talk.

moderated Re: in zoom, what please is the keystroke to mute and unmute your mike in a meeting?

The space bar is a temporary unmute function, it is not a true toggle.  If you are unmuted pressing the space bar will not mute you.  Also, you must press and hold the space bar for the entire time you wish to be unmuted.  This feature must be turned on in settings, there is a check box under the audio settings.  Also in Windows it only works if your focus is in certain areas of Zoom.  Since the space bar is used by screen readers the screen reader tries to interpret pressing the space bar as a click.  This feature works much better and consistently on Mac.

Neither way is right or wrong.  I just prefer what's been, in my experience, more reliable and where the media used can be reused a virtually unlimited number of times and is way easier to carry around.  When you add the fact that many newer laptops don't even have an optical drive . . .

Mark,

If you bring up the list of Styles, and arrow down to say heading level 1 and tab, you will find buttons like, apply, modify, etc.

If you select modify, you can go through and set the font, size, attributes, whether it is centered, etc.

At the end of all that will be an option to apply to the current or save it for all documents or something like that.

I did mine a while back so don’t remember the exact phrasing.

Does anyone have experience customizing and applying Word styles with JAWS? Since a style is just a group of font and typographic settings that can be applied to line or paragraph of text, they are really helpful for people who do lots of writing for visual readers, such as students writing essays or a lawyer writing legal briefs.

Well since windows 7, people only need to put in a blank DVD and use the applications key while on the file, and go to burn ISO, or however it's worded.
But clearly some folks have trouble with even that, and I didn't feel like writing out my usual information, I prefer using Universal USB Installer myself.
But I'm sure it is appreciated by many that you have all the steps written out for those who wish to learn them.

Depending upon your version of Jaws, press Ctrl + Alt + S to silence notifications in Zoom.

Subject: Speech with Zoom

When I’m using JAWS with Zoom so often throughout the meeting it tells me that someone has left the meeting, someone’s bandwidth is low or someone’s microphone is muted, etc. Having these messages go through a Zoom meeting several dozen or hundred times is just unworkable. Does anyone know if there is anywhere in the settings center I’m missing how to shut these messages off? I don’t want to turn JAWS off to the “Speech on Demand” because I’m working with a Word document while in the meeting and need JAWS to talk to me, just without these nonstop notifications.

Thank you!

I never burn DVDs any more either, but for simplicity sake, I suggested the DVD, because IMO, if someone cannot burn a DVD, then they likely would have more trouble writing a USB image.

I almost never use actual DVD anymore, far preferring USB instead, and I haven't seen a system that won't allow booting from USB in quite a while now.

Although the instructions are for Doing a Completely Clean (Re)install of Windows 10 Using Media Creation Tool to Fetch the Win10 ISO File, downloading an ISO is just downloading, and Rufus can be used to burn any ISO file to USB media, not just the Windows 10 ISO file.  You can just follow the instructions regarding using Rufus after you have the Linux ISO file you wish to have burned to bootable media.
