No http orwww is needed on my computer. just typed youtube.com and went right to it. Key is haveing the file type for .com and net set to be opened by a browser of your choice.

Just to throw some confusion into the mix, if you are trying to reach the mobile version of FaceBook, it is m.facebook.com The word basic will draw up an error like he said. I don't know if you are paying for the Eset security or not but I had to get rid of it. They claimed to be a part of Microsoft at one time and Microsoft doesn't contract with anyone to do their work. A lesson I learned after having to have MS clean up a mess they had made on my computer.

Yeah, seems worth a shot. If it works, then there’s probably some configuration option in eset that can be changed to let these things through.

The more complaints FS gets about this issue the more likely fixing it will become a higher priority. Though there is an obvious workaround, Marie is correct that a workaround and a solution/fix are not one and the same.

I am running the 2 year SMA and have the problem. And yes you can stop from having Jaws in the system tray but that is not a solution to a bug.

I Can't Read or Open Message Sent to My Google Group

Dear Listers:
I’m sure there may be some of you out there who belong to a Google group of some kind and who maybe have tried to read messages not in your inbox but on the page of the group you belong to. This is the situation with me. I am having trouble getting messages on my group’s page even just to open. I find where the message is. If it is unread I hit the enter key, but instead of opening the message nothing happens and the message just remains still. I am using the latest version of JAWS and am using Windows 10. One of you suggested I hit insert+Z to disable turn the virtual cursor off and try from there. I did, but it didn’t work. If any of you out there belong to a Google group and have tried reading messages from the group’s page, can you give me some tips on how to open and how to read such messages using JAWS?

I'm running the latest version of windows 10, and things are fine on one computer, but not on the other. Weird!

No, I'm using the old sma method. I have had this going on for a while, but I never thought to look around and find out if it is in the sys-tray when it happens.
