you access the IMG panel by pressing windows key and period At the same time. Narrator doesn’t have a screen curtain as far as I know. But then again you can just turn off your monitor. That’s what I do.

I find I have to use Narrator to arrow through the emoji panel, and after picking one, Narrator reads the emoji just fine. Jaws 2021 reads a number. I sent a note to a friend who has a great job at a place where it is not uncommon for the office to go out for a drink at 3 PM to end the day. So I used the whiskey glass emoji. Narrator reads it accurately. Jaws 2021 says “twelve.”
Any thoughts about how Jaws can be made to speak the emoji?

The Emoji panel is accessed with pressing the Windows key plus the period. Then, you have to arrow around to get into the categories and pick the category then you can arrow through the list of emoji.
I do not know if Narrator has a screen curtain.

showing most of the content but the public release did.

Re: I Cannot Join Zoom Meeting from my Outlook Calendar
Rick Miller
After I got the e-mail meeting invitation which I sent to myself since it is a church meeting only I plan to join via Zoom, I opened it up and there was the page with all the details. I then hit the Alt key to open up the Appointment tab. I tabbed several times until I heard “Calendar,” and hit the Enter key. When I did this the meeting information posted immediately to my Outlook calendar. I tabbed past the day and time and the notification that this is an all-day meeting, which I did not check. Then after I hit the tab key again, which put me on the field where additional comments are added, there was the name of the meeting, the day, time, and the hyperlink to join. When I hit the Enter key on the hyperlink nothing happened, even though JAWS did say the word “Hyperlink.” I then hit Insert+F7 which is the keystroke for all links and JAWS spoke that there were no links and instructed me to hit Insert+F5. When I did, the hyperlink popped up. I tabbed once and when I heard JAWS say OK I hit the Enter key. I then tried again to hit the Enter key on the hyperlink in the appointment field but again, nothing happened. And when I hit Insert+F7 JAWS again said that there were no links. The version of Windows I am using is Windows 10, and I am using the JAWS Beta version.

Make sure you got the entire hyperlink that you didn’t cut off any of the text at the end beginning or anywhere else for that matter! :-) LOL Randy Barnett
Dear Listers:
I am trying to join a Zoom meeting from my Outlook calendar. After I schedule the meeting and paste it to my Outlook calendar, the hyperlink is there in the calendar appointment but when I try to activate the link using the Insert+F7 keystroke it is saying that no link is there and that I should press Insert+f5. When I do this the hyperlink appears. I tab to OK and hit the Enter key but that still does not solve the problem. The version of Outlook I am using is Outlook 2010 but I do have a Zoom plug-in installed and so I am able to schedule a Zoom meeting from Outlook. I am trying to insert on my Outlook calendar a weekly Zoom class at church. I got the hyperlink to join the Zoom meeting from someone at church. I scheduled the meeting and sent it to my own e-mail address, and on the invitation message whenever I hit the Enter key on the hyperlink to join I can join with no trouble, but after I paste it to my Outlook calendar and then try to join from the Appointment tab on the calendar the hyperlink doesn’t work. Do any of you out there know how I can get the hyperlink on the calendar to working?

auto complete in Excel not working
Denise J Moses
After my computer updated auto complete in Excel 2016 quit working. I am using JAWS 2018. 2020 won’t work at all with this feature. I type in frequently used words in my checkbook register so I don’t have to type the whole word. Also the read column title won’t stay inacted. I have to keep going into quick setting & turn it back on again. Can I fix these 2 issues? Denise

I hope it’s just a one-time thing, but based on mine, I wouldn’t be surprised if it continues. Clicking on that link works, but it doesn’t solve the issue.

Thanks Madison, I went to the link in the Groups.io message and clicked on the link to unblock the account and that worked apparently, or I would not have gotten my test message or your reply. But, if this persists, I will contact my ISP. Later,

Hi Richard, You came through!!! I had this same issue, it was something that my ISP had to fix on their end, it’s not something that groups.io can fix. Your ISP is likely viewing certain messages as spam so they’re being blocked. In the bounce message there’s a link that you can click on to view the error messages that groups..io receives, send your ISP a list of the email address (s) that are in the error messages, and ask your ISP to check and see if groups.io is on any internet black lists, if it is then ask them to remove it from such lists, hopefully they’re willing to look into it for you!!! Good luck, hope you can get the problem fixed once and for all!!
