It is very accessible you just download the app on your phone and everything is accessible and of course Alexa is completely voice driven so it is totally accessible to. And you can do so many things that it's ridiculous. like a Brian said Google it.

I just received an early Christmas present from a dear friend, an Echo Dot. I know this is a bit off-topic for this list, but I am hoping someone has instructions so I can set it up? Also, any set of commands I can perform after setup. Thanks!

Downloading a pdf with JAWS Google chrome drive pdf viewer
Shai
Hello,
I am trying to download a pdf that opens in drive pdf viewer with Google classroom JAWS2020 but there is no download button to be found. I tried pressing alt with f to see if I can get a file menu and also to disable the virtual cursor in order to tab around and see if I can locate a download button but again I cannot find it. I know that Google has made changes to drive and the layout has gotten a bit more complicated so I am wondering if anyone has steps to locate this button? I pressed enter on the actions button and details and I was able to see that viewers do have permission to download the file. I know that the pdf can be opened in Google docs but I would prefer to be able to download the pdf since there is mathematical content I need to email out and I want it displayed correctly. Thank you in advance for any responses.

Re: JAWS 20212 beta, five Japanese voices
Orlando Enrique Fiol
I'm surprised no one has mentioned the five new Japanese voices that have always been part of the 3.0 SAPI version. There are enough voices to make male and female voice profiles for PC and JAWs Cursors, Keyboard and Tutor&Message.
Does that mean we'll get the Farsi voice, Stephanie UK English and Damian U.S. English by the 2021 release? Two notes on the beta: 1. Eudora works well with it! FS says they nno longer support Eudora, and I have to install the old scripts to make it work. But with 2020, the graphics for items like 'read" and "unread" absolutely did not work. With 2021, I had to build the .JGF file, but it works! I realize that using a 25-year-old email program is pretty retro, but I am delighted that it still works! I'm older than 25, and I still work pretty well. 2. In Excel, When typing data into a cell and then tabbing, neither JAWS nor NVDA would read the first character typed. So if you entered 4321, JAWS would say 321. With 2021, JAWS speaks all four characters.

Re: Suggestions for a new wireless keyboard
Randy Barnett
First off do you want a mechanical or standard keyboard? I have both. The mechanical one I have is a little light on the touch. I'd like it to be stiffer my standard Logitech keyboard isNice but Nice bud I would use The mechanical one more if the keys were a little stiffer.

G skill mechanical keyboards are nice just make sure you get the stiffer keys. And of course logitech K-series are excellent. Both brands of keyboards have ones that do both Bluetooth and wireless with a little dongle. Randy Barnett

keys for launching certain programs and for raising and lowering the volume, and

keyboards.
