Windows 10 has adopted the same language as phones. So Apps, in Microsoft's world, are  somewhat synonymous with programs.
Here are steps from another member:

Here is the steps to tell Windows to let you install non Windows Store apps  This will fix your problem.

1.    Click Start > Click Settings.

2.    In the Settings window, click Apps.

3.    In Apps & Features, change “Choose where to get apps” from The Microsoft Store only (recommended) to Anywhere.

4.    Close the Settings window. The change will only take effect when you close the window.


 


I noticed there are four options, 1. only from the Microsoft Store, 2.  anywhere, but warn me if tit is not from the Microsoft store, 3.  anywhere but let me know if there is a comparable app in the Microsoft store, and 4. Anywhere.HTH,.

Hello, I'm using Jaws 202 and windows most recent versions. The browser is
Chrome and I just installed it the other day. Has anyone used Grubhub? I'm
having a problem turning on the I'm not a robot. I do press the space bar
and it doesn't tell me it is checked. I did start over and pressed that one
time thinking I turned it on. I then had to listen to audio and enter the
words. I was able to do it. Yet I couldn't get off that page. There was no
error message saying something was wrong. I do have an account. I cleared

I have not done this, but it seems that if Jaws is coming over the headphones and the computer sounds are on the speakers, the alt+s and share computer sound should work without Jaws then going to everyone.

You might try using the Windows sound mixer app and making sure that JAWS is routed to your headset output. Just search the start menu for "mixer" and you'll find it. Alternately, you can type "sounds" and press enter on Sounds, System Settings. From there, tab to App Volume and Device Preferences. That will bring you to the exact same dialogue as the Sound Mixer options. Six of one, half a dozen of the other.

First of all, if you're sharing audio, you're using the speakers rather than the microphone. Zoom doesn't really clarify this, but when you share audio, you're streaming content that each participant hears on their chosen audio device.
JAWS can't be routed to a microphone input, unless you have an inexplicable situation like I do with my Blue Yeti stereo USB microphone. Because it has a headphone output for monitoring the mic's sound right from the mic itself, the mic appears as both a microphone and speaker. This wouldn't be so bad if Windows didn't insist on using this phantom speaker as an audio device. Of course, since nothing is connecting this headphone output to any speaker, it's silent.

good to know about grubhub. I haven't tried it with jaws. The last time I tried it with a different screen reader on my laptop it didn't work out so well so we'll have to try it with jaws sometime. Sent for my Samsung Galaxy

Hello, I’m using Jaws 202 and windows most recent versions. The browser is Chrome and I just installed it the other day. Has anyone used Grubhub? I’m having a problem turning on the I’m not a robot. I do press the space bar and it doesn’t tell me it is checked. I did start over and pressed that one time thinking I turned it on. I then had to listen to audio  and enter the words. I was able to do it. Yet I couldn’t get off that page. There was no error message saying something was wrong. I do have an account. I cleared out browser data and still the same problems. I tend to use the iPhone apps for these kinds of services.  in general I have found that the apps are much easier to use than the web sites.
