I have never seen menu spelt with an e on the end, and I am not American.
As far as I can see it is not in the dictionary.

I am from the United Kingdom. In the UK, we do have the letter "e" at the end of the word "menue". And, as far as I know, among the english speaking countries round
the world, only the United States of North America and Canada, do not have the letter "e", at the end of the word "menue".
With all due respect, when you criticize others, for the way they use, speak and write their language, you should be very careful that others do not come back, and
by demonstration, show how poorly you use, speak and write your language. Especially, if you are a citizen of the United States of North America, as a nation, you use, speak and write the poorest quality standard English in the world.

You have really ticked me off. It is not very often that I show my annoyance but, you really have a nerve.

On checking the text in my previous reply to you, I found a typo.
In addition, I changed some of the text, to ensure bettter accuracy.
thereforeI am reposting the message again, with the correction and amended text.
I have just discovered the following method:
Press INSERT+J, to open the JAWS "Context" Menue.
Press U, which opens the "utilities" submenue, and highlights the "Tandom" Submenue.
press t, which opens the "tandom" submenue, and highlights the "Tandom Centre" submenue.
Press C, which opens the "Tandom Centre" submenue
There are 2 options: "Allow Access to My Computer...", and "Get Access to a Computer...". by default, the "Allow Access to My Computer...", is highlighted
Press A, to open "Allow Access to My Computer...". JAWS will speak the text in the dialogue. The "Meeting ID" edit field, is highlhlighted; or
Press G to open, "Get Access to a Computer...". JAWS will speak the text in the dialogue. The "Get Access" button, is highlighted.
Press G, to open this option. JAWS will speak the access code, which needs to be given to the other person.
The beauty of this method, is that, you do not need to move your fingers off the qwerty keyboard at all.
This is definitely going to be the method I will use in the Future.

There's not a shortcut command for getting the access code for accessing someone elses computer. Press, Insert + J, then press the letter, U, to open Utilities,
then press enter on, submenu Jaws Tandem, press enter on submenu Tandem center, press enter on Get access to a computer ..., and now press enter on, Get access button, to get the access code.

Just in case JAWS 2020 is not loading correctly, ask your friend, to unload JAWS, then, reload JAWS.
Remember, your friend may not be able to perform the INSERT+CTRL+ALT+T, JAWS command to go straight to the tandom window, where they need to enter the meeting ID
code. In that case, following the steps in my previous email, might be a better way for your friend, to get to that window.

Hi there
That’s exactly what I ha her to do this morning and able to do tandem with her before I do tandemthere were a bells sound pop on windows
It looks like the person who installed JAWS on her computer, set JAWS to be minimized to the Task Tray. When this is done, when someone presses ALT+TAB, to cycle
through the open windows, the JAWS window is not displayed.
Suggest to her that she do the following:
1. Press WINDOWS KEY+M, to go to the desktop.
2. If JAWS 2020 is the only version of JAWS installed on the machine, press the letter J, to highlight JAWS. If there is more than 1 version installed, keep pressing
the letter J, until, JAWS 2020 is spoken.
3. press ENTER. The JAWS Context Window opens, and the first option in that window, is "options".
4. Tap the DOWN ARROW once, to highlight "Utilities".
5. tap the RIGHT ARROW 3 times, JAWS will say, "Allow access to my computer"...
6. Press ENTER. The meeting ID window is opened. After speaking some text, JAWS will say, "Meeting ID, edit". She needs to enter the meeting ID you give her, followed
by pressing the ENTER key, to start the Tandom session.

Re: Doug Lee's audible scripts
Hi Richard,
I just downloaded the Audible scripts from Doug Lee's website and I am also using Edge. I had to go through the same steps, e.g. I had to allow the download and when I tried to install I also had to tell it to go ahead and install the program
anyways. However, afterwards when I opened the Audible app and pressed Jaws Key + Q, I was told I had "Audible Revision 64" and the scripts definitely work well. I can go through my library and if I press Shift + F10 on a particular title I get options such
as View Summary, Mark as Finished, Download etc.

A more direct approach would be getting sighted assistance to look at what the printer display (I'm presuming it has one) might be saying, whether that assistance is "in the flesh" or via Be My Eyes or Aira.
Does the machine make any sort of noise whatsoever when you hit the copy key? They can be set up to scan/copy to the computer, resulting in a file rather than print copy.
If it's not making any noise, you're probably going to have to find out what the status is on its display before you can move forward. If it is making noise, you may be able to use JAWS with the configuration software to switch it from doing "to computer" copy/scan to doing "to print."
Also, most of these machines have a copy button, which really should typically produce a hard copy, and a scan button. If you're hearing activity, you may have activated the scan button rather than copy. I can't really know how this machine is set up without a model number to go on. -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 1909, Build 18363 The purpose of education is not to validate ignorance but to overcome it. ~ Lawrence Krauss

Re: bryan smarttalking win pe
It is a microsoft utility that boots up to windows,
but not your windows, so you can access your operating system on your
computer.
So you are in a generic windows environment that is
running only in RAM.
So if you need to change a password, access the
files on an account on your computer, repair a system that won't boot, and
more.
With Carlos's images, they have network drivers, so
you can connect via WIFI if you want.
In fact, with Carlos's images, if you only browse
the web and read eMail or listen to music, you can only use the image and not
even own an installed Windows, you could use a portable browser and a portable
eMail program.

Jasmine, if you have determined that you don't have the Zoom
scripts installed you can get them from Brian Hartgen's Web site. Brian
offers two sets of scripts.
One set is free of cost and is already installed with JAWS 2020,
although it can be used with earlier versions of JAWS.
Another set is called the Zoom Professional scripts and contains

Hi, Jasmine.
Depending on which version of JAWS you are running you may already have a set of basic scripts providing additional keystrokes which have been set up to use Zoom with JAWS. While you're in Zoom press insert-H which brings up a list of hotkeys for the program which is opened. Try that key to see if you get a list of Zoom hotkeys. This will not be a complete list of hotkeys but it will be a list of JAWS-specific keystrokes.
I run a list discussing Zoom accessibility. You're more than welcome to join it although I am not trying to steer you away from asking Zoom-specific questions on this group.

The only JAWS command that is in Zoom is alt Windows s and this is to disable alerts such as when a person enters exits a meeting or send a chat. Jonathan Mosen has made a really good book for Zoom called Meet me in the cloud. You can read more about it at mosen.org from the store page.

Doug Lee's audible scripts
Hello,
I decided to try the Microsoft Audible app and installed Doug Lee’s scripts, over the objection of Windows Defender.
When I launch the Audible app and press insert+q, there is no information about a revision number, which leads me to believe they did not install correctly if at all. It
shows Jaws 2020 as the version I’m installing the scripts for.
Any of you Jaws Gurus have any idea how else to check the script installation?
This is out of my depth.

not granting grace to others, I’ve never once regretted extending it.)" - Edward Herbert

There is also a Zoom group for the blind. Personally I don’t like it because they are narrow minded. When I asked about texting someone while on Zoom they promptly booted me off. Claiming it was not zoom related. Guess the marijuana
kicked in that day.
