I've never installed any of his scripts, so this is only a guess.  Try looking in the J2020 ENU folder or look in Manage Application settings in the Jaws context menu.  To get to manage application settings press, Insert + J, then press the letter, O, to open Options, then press the letter, M, to open manage...

Jasmine, if you have determined that you don't have the Zoom scripts installed you can get them from Brian Hartgen's Web site. Brian offers two sets of scripts.

One set is free of cost and is already installed with JAWS 2020, although it can be used with earlier versions of JAWS.

Another set is called the Zoom Professional scripts and contains additional features.

Hi, Jasmine.

Depending on which version of JAWS you are running you may already have a set of basic scripts providing additional keystrokes which have been set up to use Zoom with JAWS. While you're in Zoom press insert-H which brings up a list of hotkeys for the program which is opened. Try that key to see if you get a list of Zoom hotkeys. This will not be a complete list of hotkeys but it will be a list of JAWS-specific keystrokes.


I run a list discussing Zoom accessibility. You're more than welcome to join it although I am not trying to steer you away from asking Zoom-specific questions on this group.

There is also a Zoom group for the blind.  Personally I don’t like it because they are narrow minded.  When I asked about texting someone while on Zoom they promptly booted me off. Claiming it was not zoom related.  Guess the marijuana kicked in that day.

Hello Jasmine,
Nice to see you on the list! there are really no JAWS commands for
Zoom. I would recommend searching keyboard commands for Zoom. The only
JAWS command that is in Zoom is alt Windows s and this is to disable
alerts such as when a person enters exits a meeting or send a chat.
Jonathan Mosen has made a really good book for Zoom called Meet me in
the cloud. You can read more about it at mosen.org from the store
page.

I don’t know why Audible would say that. I’m able to download quite easily using the MS app and Doug Lee’s JAWS scripts.

Not so, according to Audible itself. The MS app doesn’t permit the download of files. They tell us to use the Audible Sync app, where you transfer files directly from the app to the device. That said, are they wrong, and are you able to download Audible books using the MS app?

You don't use the Audible app from Audible any more, the new Microsoft Store version is now used for downloading books if that is what  you want to do.

The problem I encountered with these scripts is that I can’t get them to pair with the Audible app at the Microsoft Store, which is the one I believe they’re written for. They don’t seem to cover the Audible Sync app, downloadable from Audible.com.

My guess is this is the root of the problem.  Most multifunction printer/scanner/fax machines allow you to do single envelopes from the "quick feed" if you so choose, but you can also put them in the main paper tray (and always with print side down if using the main tray) and adjust the edge rails.

But if you don't set your paper type in MS-Word, for instance, to Envelope #10 (I'm presuming a standard business envelope here), the print will hang in most cases because you have an envelope in the machine, but the paper type is most likely set to letter.

I always make my self a blank envelope file that I keep as my permanent template, where I've saved same with the paper type set to envelope.

Not that simple, I expect.  Before you print you may need to check the printer options in the envelope dialog, they may not be set right.  Some printers even have a single sheet feed option that is great for envelopes.

Nope.  It is all done inside the printer.  I just use k1000's copy feature when I need to copy, and it is done on the computer, instead.  The reason nothing happened on your printer is that it probably needed more information such as whether you needed to reduce or enlarge, and that would be done on the printer's screen.
