If you're using the scripts found on www.jfwlite.com in the programs area
then I think it's Alt+i to create a bookmark. Insert+h will bring up a whole

there are some audio training files on blind cool tech:

and also some superb ones on the blind-geek-zone website:

and this from Microsoft itself:
List, here is the direct link to the Microsoft web site for the article to help get you oriented to windows 7 entitled
"Accessibility-transitioning to windows 7".
It is 20 pages long, has excellent descriptions and includes a very usable
set of tables with short cut keys that we all need to know and use if we

Have fun.

Hi,
I've been using 7 for almost a year and don't really notice many differences between it and Vista. I really like it aside from a few things I wish I could find out how to do. And, this is said from the lady that came into Windows from Unix kicking and screaming. LOL I think you'd be OK with 7 unless you use a lot of old programs that aren't compatible with it. I've only found one that I couldn't find a good replacement yet for.
Good luck and email me privately if you need or want any help.

Re: [Bulk] JAWS not reading message in windows live mail

inthane <inthaneelf@...>

this is a common happening (the announcement of "outlook express") and comes from the code used to create windows mail and... windows live mail, it was a talked about item when folks just started using windows 7 and WLM.

so the problem lies else where, make sure she has all windows maximized, and that the preview pain is turned off (there are notes on doing all of this in the information package for windows 7 and the one for WLM on my grabbag site, see address/link under my name)

take care and good luck,

Jimmy,

Sounds like having Outlook Express on that machine is confusing things. It
needs to be removed, since it does not run on Windows 7 (or so I've been
told).

Good afternoon,

I am trying to help someone with WLM. She has been reading her mail with
JAWS 12 but today although WLM shows the message list it doesn't read the
message when it is opened.

I noticed that when she opens WLM JAWS says something about outlook Express.
She tells me she had programs from her old computer transferred to her new
window seven, but that was some time ago.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Dorothy is confusing Karen's obviously accidental posting with Londa's post.
I suggest we all let this error go, as well as Karen's. Lots of people

I've used Windows 7 on my notebook for about a year and a half. I love it
and have no problems. I don't even have many of the problems others have
said that they do. I am using the 64-bit version. I'm using IE9 with no
trouble as well.

it's time for a new laptop. Do any of you feel it incumbent to stop me

Out of curiosity, I looked up "NAS" on google. It means network attached
storage. Synology sells NAS systems.

That doesn't answer the query, but maybe it will enable someone else to give
advice.

Hi everyone,

I have a very frustrating problem with a NAS from the company called
Synology:
Unfortunately the webinterfaces where you for one thing could create new
users et cetera is not accessible for JAWS-users. Synology told me that it
is very hard for them to make a new webinterface, so they refer me to
contact my dealer and ask for refunding of my money.

Therefore I will ask on this list:
Have any person experience with a NAS where the webinterface is accessible
with JAWS?

Very thanks for the answer.

Regards,
Anders

Jimmy
