Did you check the settings on your old computer and then check the settings on the new computer to see whether they match or here's another question, is the operating system the same or different?

Hi, Michael. Enable / Disable Power Saving on USB Ports
1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run box. Type devmgmt.msc and press Enter. 2. When the Device Manager window opens, expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers branch, then right-click the USB Root Hub device and select Properties. 3. Click the Power Management tab. If you want USB ports to keep supplying power in sleep mode, just uncheck “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power“. Or check it to let Windows turn off USB ports to save power. 4. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for all of the USB Root Hubs on the computer.

Hi all,
When words run together using Acrobat Reader, this is a reading order problem and can be fixed most of the time. Hit Control Shift 5, and up or down arrow and hit enter on one of the other options to change the reading order. About 99 percent of the time this will fix the problem.

Well if that is of concern, I would use my own license and contact either the state agency first, or a private assistance provider, such as Easter Seals. They can use "ticket to work" and if you aren't interested in giving the job to the state agency, let one of the private agencies use the ticket to work program. Whoever provides it, other than the employer, gets reimbursed for their work with you. The company may be able to benefit from tax incentives as well if they provide it. Also, let’s not push our rights back into the dark ages. What if you required a refreshable Braille Display. Would you fork over $5,000 and purchase your own? We have every right to have the equipment to perform our jobs! We have fought long and hard for this right, don’t shove it out the door. If you purchase your own license of JAWS you set a precedent for every single person with a disability that this company hires in the future. Jim Weiss

causing this or something else.
Hold down the, Insert key, then press the,

Z. This will temporarily bypass
your settings and put Jaws into it's factory default settings mode. This keystroke is a toggle so, press the key combination sequence again to go back to your personal settings. Temporary bypass using current User Settings and use JAWS factory default = Z. Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Go dodgers!
