Windows+I. Try: 1. Open Settings (Windows+I). 2. Go to "Time and Language". 3. Select Date and Time (first subcategory). 4. Select "Sync now". This will synchronize your clock according to what a time server says (default is time.windows.com). If this works, your clock will be set to the correct time unless the hardware clock refuses to honor what Windows says. I'm going to forward this to an actual Windows 10 forum in hopes that folks over there can provide guidance. Cheers, Joseph

Hi. I can answer a couple of your questions. First, you get to the participant list by pressing alt-U. You have to tab around until you get to the list of names; then you can arrow up and down. This is somewhat buggy. They claim they’re going to fix it so that every time you get into the participant list you’ll be put in the list of names by default, but they haven’t fixed it yet. To chat with a participant, you have to open the chat panel. You do this by pressing alt-H. That opens the chat panel. You then tab around until you find the names of participants and press enter on the name of the person you want to chat with. By default it’s set to send a chat to everyone. Hope this helps. I am taking part in a class at church via Zoom. I know how to join a meeting and how to mute and unmute my microphone, but there are a few things I am having problems with. First, when you join a meeting, how do you get to the Gallery view using JAWS? Also, when I get to the list of participants JAWS won’t read the list whenever I arrow up and down. Also, I know there is a spot where it says, “Find a participant.” I assume you enter the person’s name and then the person’s name will show. But if you want to send a message to that participant, how do you do it? Whenever I find the “Find Participant,” link and enter the person’s name, when I tab again it just gives me the option to either clear the search or cancel. So what does this mean?

Hi all, When I open a message in outlook, it says unread, and I see what the line is, but when I open the message to read it, I don't see the top of the message. I see, the reply to whatever someone wrote, but I can't see the latest message in any group message, and as far as any personal messages go, I can't see the latest message in any thread either. If I do a jaws repair, things work for awhile, but then things go haywire again for no apparent reason. I am running outlook windows ten, jaws 2020 on a windows ten machine. Jim

I am using latest Jaws 2020 and windows 10. I have my sound blaster card selected in Jaws, but when I go to sound settings in windows and change to a different sound card, I lose Jaws speech.
I thought if I specifically selected the sound blaster card in Jaws, and not the windows default sound, Jaws would always speak through the sound blaster card, regardless of selection in windows 10 sound settings.
I am trying to route Jaws to the sound blaster card and other sounds to the built in realtek sound card.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Also, when I plug in any new sound output device, such as a camera, windows 10 makes this the active sound output device, effectively turning off Jaws speech.

Yes, I have speakers into my sound blaster card and headphones into my on board Realtek audio. Today, I plugged in my camera for a Zoom meeting. Jaws stopped speaking through sound blaster and tried speaking through the speaker built in to my camera. It was too quiet to hear, but fortunately, narrator was loud enough to hear through the small camera speaker. I had to go to windows 10 sound settings and switch the focus back to the sound blaster card, and all audio came through fine. I still have the sound blaster card checked in Jaws, which should mean that all Jaws audio comes through it, even when a different audio output is selected in windows 10 settings. I would like to figure out how to make this work properly. Randy Meyer
