Re: need help please in my win10 I am unable to successfully paste some copied files from one folder into a new folder

Hello fellow listers,
I am running Win10 with jfw18. This problem just startaed happening in the
past 4 or 5 days in my win10 when I try to paste into a new folder some copied
files from another folder.
The problem is when I try to do this, copy some files that were copied
successfully from one folder and then try to paste these copied files into a new
folder I get the error message “error, interrupted action” and I cannot
successfully paste these copied files into the new folder and i only have the
option to try again and when i try again to paste these copied files i keep
geting the same error message “error interrupted action”. I am really stumped as
to what could be causing this problem in my win10. Does anyone maybe have any
ideas on how I can maybe fix this unable to paste problem when I try to paste
copied files into a new folder in win10 that just startaed happening about 5
days ago? Any help I can maybe get with this would be so very much appreciated.

I use the portable version of QRead and have it placed in my Google Drive folder so I can have synchronicity across my computers. The only thing QRead really doesn’t do and would be very helpful is to highlight or make notes. This is especially lacking for nonfiction stuff where you’re trying to learn something. If there’s a program that does this, I’d like to know. I believe Kindle supports note taking and highlighting, but I don’t think those features are available when using Jaws. That and at least for me, I don’t want to be locked into the Amazon ecosystem. All in all, I’m happy with QRead, but the developer’s pretty much abandoned it so if it were to ever brick, that’ll be that then. Not saying it will any time soon, but just something to keep in mind..

Braille Back is not very well developed and is another separate program. The

last time I used it crashed regularly. Also you didn't get the same feature set as TalkBack. It should be in TalkBack, not a different program. Braille Support on Mobile is nothing special. Basically all which happens is what is spoken is what is shown on the braille display. Nothing has been done to help the Braille Real Estate in abbreviation of commonly roles and etc which is done in the windows screen readers. Such as Btn for button. A comment was made that Samsung model phones 6 and higher, accessibility improved. But lower models are very hit and miss for accessibility. This is an argument for using Apple. As all their models are accessible. Google should have made some form of policy to make any modifications by a mobile phone vendor the changes are accessible and do not impact Googles OS and accessibility framework. Hence any changes to the OS does not impact accessibility features. If this was done, then all phones in theory would be accessible. The story end is to use the phone you like. All these discussion points might help you with your decisions. Take the emotion out of the decision and test the phones. The support you get when testing a phone will be a big player. Hi, Milton. From what I understand, the new Microsoft Edge Chromium will be ending support for ebooks soon except in pdf format. Epub will no longer be supported.

I have often had these sorts of notifications remain in the Action Center even if the computer restarted itself outside of active hours for a cumulative update. And when that's the case, the notification won't "do" anything since what needs to be done already occurred. so long as BRLTTY supports it, chances are it will work. There are options to try more generic drivers is a specific model does not connect or whatever, so no idea what display will work. windows 10 update?

I came back to my computer a little while ago to find a screen saying my windows 10 needed to be updated. It gave me three options: set a time, remind me later, restart now. The strange thing is that none of the options worked. Nothing happened. Had to shut down the computer to be rid of the screen.
I am running W10 with automatic updates on. Also running J2020 June update.
What is hapeenin?

Ok, that might work. I'll look at that the next time I'm doing a phone upgrade. Google was less than helpful. I have gotten good luck with BRLTTY on other Linux systems, so it should be fairly sane for Android, thanks.
I need to contact my carrier anyway, because they're blathering about upgrade offers, so I'll see what we come up with. What's a good current device that worked? I currently have a Brailliant BI 40, if that helps. |
