If you're using the scripts found on www.jfwlite.com in the programs area
then I think it's Alt+i to create a bookmark. Insert+h will bring up a whole
list of hotkeys and their functions.

Thanks and have a great day.

Research it ,A friend in Uk says if fs is using any partof his licence
to spend on baseball results, it is a disgrace even if eric damery is a
fan.
This friend has bought jaws 12, and in fact like me paid for Jaws 13, but
his copy of jaws 12 is still in his desk draw, he has sighted family 2
grown
sons but, will never put on any upgrade till it has spent a year in his
draw
whilst"fs deal with the bugs Well I put it on at once always living in
hoep, I told friend the move was in fact to Canada,he said it must have
been
a really big job for the moderator and shame on those who had hysterical

Dave,

Dorothy is confusing Karen's obviously accidental posting with Londa's post.
I suggest we all let this error go, as well as Karen's. Lots of people
accidentally click reply to the list when they don't intend to post.

Hi everyone,

I have a very frustrating problem with a NAS from the company called
Synology:
Unfortunately the webinterfaces where you for one thing could create new
users et cetera is not accessible for JAWS-users. Synology told me that it
is very hard for them to make a new webinterface, so they refer me to
contact my dealer and ask for refunding of my money.

Therefore I will ask on this list:
Have any person experience with a NAS where the webinterface is accessible
with JAWS?

Very thanks for the answer.

Regards,
Anders

Subject: About to go to Windows 7 -- Arrgh!

I may be soon migrating (disassociating?) to Windows 7 on my work machine as

it's time for a new laptop. Do any of you feel it incumbent to stop me
before I do something regretful? I do have the option of having my new
laptop fitted with XP Pro, 32-bit. Henceforth my request for your sage
advice, everyone.

Jimmy,

Sounds like having Outlook Express on that machine is confusing things. It
needs to be removed, since it does not run on Windows 7 (or so I've been
told).

Good afternoon,

I am trying to help someone with WLM. She has been reading her mail with
JAWS 12 but today although WLM shows the message list it doesn't read the
message when it is opened.

I noticed that when she opens WLM JAWS says something about outlook Express.
She tells me she had programs from her old computer transferred to her new
window seven, but that was some time ago.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Jimmy

Hi everyone,

I have a very frustrating problem with a NAS from the company called
Synology:
Unfortunately the webinterfaces where you for one thing could create new
users et cetera is not accessible for JAWS-users. Synology told me that it
is very hard for them to make a new webinterface, so they refer me to
contact my dealer and ask for refunding of my money.

Therefore I will ask on this list:
Have any person experience with a NAS where the webinterface is accessible
with JAWS?

Very thanks for the answer.

Anders

hi,

well it seems that James is hosting the list off of his own site in Canada,
and yes one can do such things, normally a ISP provider will give you a
automated group server handling program such as mailman and you can run a
list, usually those who do this are companies and the list has to do with
there product/products, but in this case he used it for the jfw list.

I think he is somewhere around Ottawa Canada.

Hello you have to first install the compatibility reporter when installing
firefox 5 an then install webvisum then webvisum does work with firefox 5.0
as I have done this on two machines running firefox 5.01 and compatibility
reporter an then installed webvisum and it is working fine for me on windows
vista and windows 7. So why don't you try my suggestion and let me know how
that works out for you.

Right now, Firefox is one big freaking mess. FF 6 is already in beta and is

scheduled to be released on August 16. And FF 7 is not far behind. So if
Webvisum doesn't work with FF 5, then it certainly won't work with FF 6.

I tried downloading FF5.0 from my Downloads folder and got the notification
that Webvisum was disabled; also I found the Tools\Options\Manage Addons
less accessible and had trouble finding the addon I wanted to modify. Then
I downloaded FF3.6.19 from a message sent by another lister, went to
Webvisum and tried downloading the plugin, but still the plugin wasn't
activated.
If you have a link to Firefox 4 please send it, but last spring I got this
message regarding some of its drawbacks:
Gone are the layers of tool bars, status bars, the bookmark bar. Instead
there is a row of tabs-much like Chrome. Interestingly, Mozilla is
sticking to the more traditional address box on the left and search box on
the right like IE and Safari. Chrome has combined the search box and
address box into one.
Have these issues been resolved yet? Thanks again for your feedback.

If you have FF3 installed why not just do the normal install? That
should still work fine as far as I know. I was only having problems
because I did upgrade to FF5 when it was offered, not realizing that
the upgrade would kill webvisum. It was working fine even with FF4.

You don't need a new invitation. I have no idea whether it will work
with FF3.6. And yes, I got the same warning and just sucked it up and
installed anyway.

Also after I opened the link I heard Jaws say "install 4

sure it was 4 or for? I'm still using FF3.6; will this version of the
plugin only work on 5.0 or later? Do I need a new invitation or new

Okay, I downloaded and installed the XPI from that page (not the
easiest thing to find due to the page being in German and eloquence
continually switching to German pronunciation). It actually works
better than indicated for me (win7 pro 64bit, jaws 12), I even get
the
speech notices when a challenge has been submitted and solved (the
only operation I use webvisum for). Thanks

Hi,

look here:
http://www.camp-firefox.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=91070
and try to install Webvisum from the xpi linked there.
* Works without trouble with FF5 (at least under Linux) and is
supposed
to work with 6 either.
* You obviously won't get any notifications from Webvisum (e.g.
when
a
captcha is solved), at least I cannot see any, might be a
screenreader
issue.
* Just mail me if the link is down; in this case I would provide
an
alternative.
