Re: dodger classic games on radio.
Richard Turner <richardturner42@...>
I believe the MLB app is also doing radio games, but I have not checked. A quick web search found a surprising result. YouTube has I think 54 classic dodger radio broadcasts. I sampled one from 1967 against the St. Louis Cardinals, the sound quality was poor, but understandable.
I hope that helps a little, Richard

is anyone using open drive?
Jim Rawls
Hi all, I know I cross posted, but I want an answer. Smile. I am bringing all my old files to my new computer. Open drive works fine, but I want to close my account now after paying my 9.95, but I can't figure how to do it. I went to their support link, and it gives some instructions on how to do it, can you help me please? I am using jaws but, I can't figure out how to do it. So, if someone can help, I would appreciate your help. I am running jaws 2020 on a windows ten computer. jim

You can open the Bookmarks Manager with CTRL+SHIFT+O, or you can hit ALT+F,B,Enter to display the bookmarks list, which you can navigate down through, or you can display the Bookmarks Bar with CTRL+SHIFT+B (which would be the option that's likely least easy to deal with). How To Access Bookmarks In Google Chrome
Tom Behler
Hello, everyone.
Since I’m having more problems with Firefox as my main internet browser, I’ve decided to give Google Chrome a try.
I believe I have now successfully imported my favorites from Internet Explorer into Google Chrome, but can’t figure out how to access my Google Chrome bookmark list to be sure.
Can someone tell me how that bookmark list is accessed?
Thanks!

Dean Martineau <topdot@...>
As is often the case, there is more than one way to do this. In Windows 10, if you can find an audio file on your system in File Explorer, press Alt+Enter while focused on it. This brings up its properties. You will probably land on a check box for Read Only. Shift+Tab to the Change button and press space to activate it. This lets you change the default program to launch the file type. If Winamp is installed, arrow through the list and focus on Windmp, then press enter. Now, it’s the default program.

Hey John.

I didn't even know about the Control-F1 key combination. When I lose the virtual cursor in Chrome, I press Alt-D to put focus in the address bar, then press Enter and hope focus goes to the edit window. I don't recommend that solution on pages visited when shopping or paying bills, to avoid duplicate payments. For web surfing in general, it's a workable option, though. I hope someone has a better option. Lou N.

I think it's related to compatibility isues in Windows 10. We're many who use and like Winamp but it really needs an update to work better with win 10. Unfortanely we can't be sure that this update will ever come. Here I found out that Winamp works better if always run it as Administrator. You can set that on the shortcut. YOu can also chose to install in C:\Wianamp insted of C:\Prgam files (X86)@Winamp. Winamp needs access to some files that is denied if it's running in normal mode when it's placed in the Program Files (X86) folder. Unfortunately if you run Winamp as an Admistartor you'll always be prompted by the User Account Control when you start it. I don't use UAC so here it's no problem. I also read that some people need to associate the file types manually to Winamp to make it work but here it haven't been necessary to do so.

I strongly suspect windows 7 is your problem if everything else you are running is up to date. Some things may still seem usable, but windows 7 needs to be put out to pasture.

Thanks, bill.
I’ll give these suggestions a try.
Am I correct in saying that the file will be called g-mail address book, as it is in Outlook when I arrow up and down my various address books after shift-tabbing into the address book list?
After I find the file, my next task will be trying to figure out what format the address book needs to be in for the Polaris note-taker. I assume .csv, but will have to check the manual.

Hi, Tom. The file path to your addressbook should be in one of the following two locations,
1. Windows 10 drive:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Outlook. 2. Windows 10 drive:\Users\<username>\Roaming\Local\Microsoft\Outlook.

Hello, everyone.
I am trying to import my personal g-mail address book from Outlook 2019 and Office 365 into a Polaris Braille Note-taker.
Can someone tell me how I can find the file path to that specific address book?
My Outlook e-mail through Office 365 has multiple address books, since I also access my University e-mail account via the University’s exchange e-mail server.
I can get to the list of my address books in Outlook via the shift-tab and arrow keys, but that does not tell me the specific file path location for the specific address book I’m looking for.
I have asked the Microsoft Accessibility folks to help me locate and export this address book, but they never seemed to come up with the right one. Plus, whatever they came up with was a very messy file once I saved it into a .csv file.
Any help with this dilemma would be appreciated.

JAWS Error Message "The FS default scripts were not found while loading scripts ... ." Happening at Start After Tweaking Scripts
Richard B. McDonald
Hi!
I made a very minor tweak to the default JAWS 2020 script file. After that tweak, I get an error message when JAWS starts. The error message says something like “The Freedom Scientific default script file could not be found when loading scripts. This may cause problems. It is recommended that these default scripts be found.”
The tweak to the default script file I made was simply to add at the very end of it an assignment of my “PrintScreen” key to the “ApplicationsKey” (shift+f10). I do not think there is an error in my script. I have done it in earlier versions of JAWS (e.g., 2019) without this problem.
So, why is this happening? How can I fix it?
Thanks, Richard
