, Thank you. I will look into it. Still deciding if learning Python would be of use to me; seems like a nice opportunity to learn something new and glad there is a good interactive forum for it.

Hi,
To be completely honest with you, I don’t know if you could do python with Jaws but, I do know where you could learn it.
There is a website where about every Tuesday Or so, a lot of people meet and work on things together. I’m a part of that website but I’ve never been to a class before so I’m not really sure what they do in the Python programming class. You can join by following the link below though.
Out-Of-Sight.net They provide you with the necessary materials you need to start learning and from what I heard, they’re pretty good group.
Hope this helps.

It will, but it won't connect to your bank directly, that was my point. I don't have to import anything with Quickbooks Online, it just brings in the transactions as they happen, ready for me to review and categorise them.

Thunderbird
is simple and at the same time, highly customizable. I don't
understand user's who use outlook for non-business purposes. I
have personally used thunderbird for years and don't have
complaints, the day before yesterday, I even downloaded and
addon to rearrange manually the order in which my e-mail
accounts appear.

I would think if it worked with 2019 it should work with 2020. But, only Doug Lee can really answer that unless someone else has tried the script and figured it out.

Hi Richard, thanks for the info. I had a second look on the release history of the script, and I see that the last release was in April 2019, so even though it identified my jaws version, the script may not be compatible with jaws 2020 after all.

Hi everyone, I tried to install some jaws scripts for reporting progress bar via sounds. The name of the script is jgauge, and I founded in this page:
it’s an executable file, but right in the end of the installation process, a message was displayed telling me that there had been an error. I believe that the script is compatible with my version of jaws 2020 since the installer properly identified this jaws version.
What could it have gone wrong? Can someone provide this same script to be installed manually?
Thanks.

Eudora works with JAWS2020, except for the graphics that should be 'read', 'unread', 'forwarded', and so on. Our ISP finally stopped supporting the TLS protocol about a month ago, so we had to give it up. But JAWS wasn't the problem.
