You can also use AIRA or Be My Eyes application on your mobile device and get live assistance from a live volunteer who can assist you with passing through the captcha. Aira is paid and first five minutes of call with a live representative is free. On the other hand Be My Eyes has volunteers and its completely free of cost. Hope this helps Pramit

Recaptcha is the Google CAPTCHA system. if you are using Chrome as your browser, and are logged into your Google account when you visit the site, pressing the spacebar should check the box and verify you as a human.

Hey David, Your zoom meeting tonight was great. Lots of good questions and lots of helpful answers. Thanks for hosting it.
You are right about Freedom Scientific help screens not being as clear as they could be. . I started with version 3.0 and really learned Jaws on my own, asking questions along the way. Have taken quite a few of F.s.’s webinars, too.
I had about 5 other questions that might help in choosing topics for these Friday night tech sessions:
Questions from Judy: What is the best screen reader to use for any of the google products?
What tips do you offer in navigating the web based version of office 365?
We have a new digital phone system that ties us together throughout the world. Each of us has a 5 digit extension. . Does anyone else use a digital phone system and where can you find hot keys for using it with Jaws? I need to find out the name of it before question is asked. Actually using it with ear phones on the computer works much better than the hand set.
Does anyone use sales force with jaws well? Tips please?
Thanks much. Judy P.S. by the way, what microphone were you using for this conference? I am looking for a good quality mike and head set that has a USB port that can plug into my computer. . ,

That could potentially be simply because the website doesn't let you copy anything. I am not a web developer, but I believe you can make it so copying just doesn't work.

However, I have encountered several websites where I can't copy anything while using chrome. The Washington Post comes to mind, as does the Guardian. I can select text, but nothing happens when I press control-c. In the applications menu, "copy" is greyed out. In these cases, I have to open the same page in another browser, usually IE11, and make the copy there. A fast way to get to the "copy" option in the JAWS quick settings menu is to type "copy" in the edit field when settings opens. -----Original Message----- From: main@jfw.groups.io <main@jfw.groups.io> On Behalf Of Michael Mote Sent: Friday, March 20, 2020 2:50 PM To: main@jfw.groups.io Subject: Re: Cannot copy text in Chrome Hi there. If you have a smart phone, the Kindle app works fine with either Talkback on Android, or VoiceOver on an iPhone. Or, search for Accessible Kindle for PC, and install it. You will need to login with your Amazon account, or create one. Sighted assistance is helpful for that login screen, as it does not read right with JAWS. HTH,

When you find the executable file for the program you want to have a shortcut to on the desktop, right click, or press shift+f10, or the application key; then arrow to Send, press the right arrow and then down arrow to desktop and hit enter. Make sure you don’t choose send with transfer, but the one that just says send.
