Ctrl+Shift+D lists all visible cells with data. With the program maximized, you should be able often to find the first cell with data.

All of these methods are useful for copying the entire sheet. Can we touch on the other part of John’s question? That is, if you know there is data in the sheet, but you aren’t sure where it starts, is there a way to find the first cell with data in it? For example, I was organizing an event recently and the hotel was sending me the list of room reservation details for my attendees. It appears the worksheet was formatted to look pretty when printed with a logo graphic at the top, What was tricky was that it took me a while to find the first cell with data in it, as they had left the first few columns and top few rows empty for visual appeal. I was going row by row down the worksheet trying to find the first cell with meaningful data in it so that I could copy it to my own planning file, which was somewhere around c15. If you know one of the cell’s contents, I suppose you can do a find that then jump to the top of the row or columns, but I wonder if there is another way.

Hi everyone,
Today, Excel stopped reading cells to me entirely. I’m able to use commands such as find, but it wont read anything in the cells once whatever I’m finding is actually found. Any ideas what’s going on? I’m only having this problem in Excel btw, Word and Outlook work just fine and I don’t use any of the other products in the suite to test them out.

I’m using Jaws 2020 and I’ve tried to activate a menu button on Paypal. Specifically, it’s in Invoice Activity. I’ve tried with Edge, Firefox 72.0.1 and Chrome 80.0.3987.122. Here’s the speech history:
Column 10
I’ve tried PC, Jaws and Touch cursors and from the list of buttons. It doesn’t open a menu, it just takes me to the detail page of the selected invoice. (No go with NVDA, either, for what it’s worth.) I need to cancel the invoice, and I read that option is in this menu I can’t get to open. Ideas will be most welcome.

If you use control and any arrow key, you'll land on the first filled cell in that direction. Using control shift and the arrow keys will select that area. If you're on A13 and you press control shift down arrow, and there's a list that goes down to row 75, then your selection will be from A13 to A75. Another way to do it is to press alt+h, then o, then m to get into the move/copy sheet dialog. Select the sheet you want to copy before, then Tab once to 'copy' and check it. At 12:12 PM 3/3/2020, you wrote:

Hello, the unique thing with Excel is that if you press control A for

select all, it will select only the current data range, stopping where there are blank cells, regardless if there are more cells in the worksheet. If you press control A a second time, the entire worksheet will be selected. Then you can copy and paste into another worksheet. In the Home ribbon under format cells, there are a bunch of options for renaming and creating worksheets, and you'll want to rename that second worksheet quickly, as well as make alterations to the copied set of data. In that list of options is the copy worksheet option, but the method I used above works as well. Matthew

Hi John,
Place your cursor on the first or beginning cell Press shift + Ctrl then the end button. This highlights all your cells from the first cell to the last cell. All rows and columns in your range will be highlighted. Then press ctrl + C to copy the cells Move to your new sheet locate the cell where you would like to begin your paste Once you have your cursor where you want to begin press Ctrl +V to paste
If you have special paste requirements use the application button instead of the Ctrl + V combo keystrokes.

Re: How to get the URL of a streaming radio?
David Griffith
I don’t own a Stratus but my understanding is that this is an older generation device which does not have device access to the O Tunes database of Radio and Podcast online directories. Someone can correct me if I am wrong. If on the other hand the Stratus can access the online O-Tunes database then the instructions should work. This capability of the VR device to connect directly to O Tunes is the critical capability – you don’t need to involve the Humanware companion at all as you are in effect smuggling streams out of the O-tunes online database via the Stream or trek exporting the stream information. You just copy the stream URL once you have opened the exported file in Notepad.
To keep this vaguely on topic the Tapin Radio app is designed with screen reader support in mind and will detect if you are running either Jaws or NVDA. I personally thought that such attention to screen reader access should be rewarded and decided to purchase after the trial period to encourage further commitment to accessibility.

Hello,
I tried the first suggestion. Tapin is installed but for a 14 day free trial.
I found 4 Toronto stations and only 1 worked. These I added to my favourites so I can retry them later. Maybe the ones that don’t work are temporarily unavailable.
The properties for the one that worked did contain the URL and this is now in a m3u file. WinAmp can play it.
I noticed that Tapin has a way to report a station that doesn’t work. Maybe the free trial status would prevent my reporting from going through.
The other suggestion was to use Human Ware. I don’t have the Victor Reader Stream, I have the Stratus.
In case it would work, I installed the Companion for the Stream. I had the Stratus SD card inserted and the USB drive was recognized.
However I couldn’t find a way to get radio stations. The Online Books menu has only 1 item: Online Book Share.
In the Tools menu there is: Internet Radio Playlist Creator asking for a playlist and channel names and URL. This successfully exported.
As I said, I couldn’t find a way to get the Companion to list radio stations.
Thanks for your suggestions.

If you use 2-step authentication you probably have to create a so-called app specific password by logging in to your Gmail account online, it’s probably somewhere under the security section and then use that password instead of your regular Gmail password to log into Outlook.

Even though I took my hotspot with me for Wi-Fi connection I was on able to originally get my email through outlook on my laptop. Eventually I was able to make it work through Gmail by responding to a critical alert and letting them know it was me. Now that I am back I cannot get my email to come through on Outlook. I continually receive a prompt to enter my password for my Gmail account. It is properly entered. I hit OK and I get the same message over and over again. I did go into Gmail and set up second verification using a text message. I’m not sure if that is interfering with things now or not. I had the problem before I set up the second verification process. I would love to hear any thoughts on what to do. Thanks.
