Outlook and JAWS feature to inform if a person is included in cc field JAWS2020
Hello, Using Outlook2016 retail version and JAWS2020, is there a feature that I can set up to inform me when a person is in the cc field? I know that I can press control plus 2 to check this, but I am actually looking for JAWS to inform me of this automatically. Thank you in advance for any responses.

I have this and it is terrible. I recommend finding another for Rocku is totally inaccessible. I have my children change channels and when home alone, I choose another television with and Spectrum does not offer anything accessible as regarding tts or SR technologies...

Hi Walker,
Go To Meeting is not at all accessible with JAWS 2019. The best accessible tool to do conference and share screens is Zoom. Since it is completely accessible you'll not face an issue using this.

I think that smart watches will become the norm,
and it may even become difficult to purchase a non-mechanical watch that is not
a smart watch.
But basic watches are one of the few devices that

Talking watches use a chip.
That is one example of a small device that cannot run an OS, of course,
I'm not talking about smart watches, just the standard watch.
And, things set up without an OS will have much greater battery
life.

Re: Dectalk software speech or its successor?
Talking watches use a chip.
That is one example of a small device that cannot run an OS, of course, I'm not talking about smart watches, just the standard watch.
And, things set up without an OS will have much greater battery life.

I seriously doubt anyone uses embedded speech chips unless it is something
too small to run an OS.
Otherwise, it typically uses software TTS via Android or Linux.

Re: Dectalk software speech or its successor?
Speech recognition is talking to a device, like Amazon Echo. TTS is text to speech, like Jaws and other screenreaders. Phones use both TTS and speech recognition.

Does anyone know of speech that sounds like that available for use with Jaws? I find a company when I search, but I don't find much on how it works. I'd probably even pay a bit of money to get that voice again if it was available.

I don't know the names but they are around. Just look at any smart TV like Samsung. Or The Amazon Fire stick, Roku and Apple TV's. They must use embedded TTS chips.

Question regarding tts type engines... Are these or do you know of any that are able to be embedded into products being designed?

I was really hoping to find something software based that would work on a modern computer. If there is such a thing, they aren't advertising it very well. My best chance may be to find a working dec express. I used to have one and liked it a lot.

Chris, be sure to avoid Dectalk USB, which purports to sound like Dectalk Express but which, sadly, doesn’t.
