Problem With Editing, Saving, And Sending A Message In Outlook Drafts Folder
Tom Behler
Hello, everyone.
I’ve noticed an interesting issue with my drafts folder in Outlook 2016.
Currently, I’m using Outlook 2016 with Office 365 on this Windows 10 computer.
Once I save a message in my drafts folder, I am unable to edit and then save it.
When I work on the message, and then attempt to save it, I get the following message:
The item cannot be saved because it was changed by another user or in another wwindow.
I’m then asked if I want to make a copy of the message in the ddefault folder.
I’m not sure how to answer this latter question.
Also, when I try to send the draft message, I get a response that says that the operation cannot be performed because the message has been changed.
I’m not sure what is going on here.
How can I get things back so that I can actually edit, and then send a message in the drafts folder like we used to be able to do in earlier versions of Outlook?
Thanks for any help on this issue.

I did do a search on windowspe as it has been ages since I mest with it and there is quite a lot to read though. If anyone has any instructions to save me some time that would be appreciated.

If the other answer wasn't what you
needed then this is the answer to your question:
go to the install file you downloaded
then right click on it and select copy path.
Now open the run command, window plus
R.
paste the file path then delete the
quotes and then put a space after it and type /repair
example:
E:\Utilities\Windows\J2019.1810.64-any.exe
/repair

If you are concerned about privacy then
try Brave. I havent played with the settings so I cant speak to
the accessibility of the interface for the settings but it works
right out of the box. Saving passwords is the only issue I have
had so far.

IE is great for a lot of things and I
use it often but there will be a time when it is phased out. I
think the corporate world is the only reason it is still getting
updates. Some big companies use it for there intranets so MS is
not dropping it yet. So you might consider getting used to a
modern browser that is going to be supported for the foreseeable
future, like Chrome or Edge Dev. Firefox is not as good as it used
to be so I don't use it unless nothing else works.
BTW: I was not referring to the old
Edge but the one under development that uses the Chromium engine.
It is basically just like all the other chromium based browsers
such as Chrome, Brave and Viladi. On 12/16/2019 5:49 PM, Pastor Gil

How to convert one note files from an earlier One note
Michael Munn
Hi all, I'm sending this email just want to ask you on how to convert one note file from an earlier version. I have an eye report that was written by my eye doctor and I think in his clinic, he uses One note 2007. I'm using One note 2016. and I want to know how to convert a 2007 file to the current so I can read it on my 2016 version of One note. Hope to hear from you. It is a fair point I guess about the deteriorated accessibility of the Windows iCloud app.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
I agree that some cautionary comments need to be added. Because I used it when accessibility was better I want to keep it myself. I don't think it is completely unusable but it is certainly not as easy as it used to be. I still use it as once it is set up you can pretty much forget about it and it is invaluable in transferring content to iOS devices via iCloud Drive. In particular using it to send content directly into the Voicedream Reader library is valuable. How about something like this for clarifying comments. The accessibility of the iCloud Windows app has regrettably deteriorated in recent versions. The following may help. You can tell with Jaws OCR that the first checkbox relates to sync with Outlook for Contacts, Calendars and Tasks. Check here with the space bar if you want iCloud to sync with your copy of Outlook. On the iCloud Main screen there are also 2 accessible options buttons - if you press enter on these then it becomes clear what the options relate to in each previous check box. The first set of options relate to synching photo. Hit the space bar on the preceding checkbox if you want iCloud to manage synching of photos across devices. The second set of options relate to synching of favourites from Internet Browsers. You will be able to specify which of your installed browsers have their favourites synched across devices in the options dialogue box. Check the checkbox prior to this option if you want to sync Bookmarks. David Griffith.

My company used to use the physical RSA token and I couldn’t read it as my vision got worse and I would have to ask for sighted assistance when working from home. We then moved to a virtual process. I cannot recall how this worked. Within the last year, we moved to a process where I have an app on my phone and the code is presented there. You can also receive a phone call with the code. Maybe this approach is an option for you. I was anxious about it at first, but the app reads fine with VoiceOver on my iphone. I read the code then enter it into the dialog that appears on my laptop.

Hi,
For systems in my company, we use a means of authentication called the SecureToken, a physical device where you enter a six-digit code that is subject to change every thirty seconds. In the workplace, what is known to work best with JAWS, since I will not be able to see the code displayed on the SecureToken’s screen?
Thank you, Mike

Re: DVS on TV
Jaws Key + Z always toggled the virtual cursor on and off as far back as I can remember. If the CBC uses this as a shortcut then have you tried it after using pass key through? This would be Jaws Key + 3 on the number row, then immediately afterwards without pressing anything else press Jaws Key + Z. If this doesn’t work give me a better example of where you go and what you used to do and I can take a look.

Re: disabling navigation hotkeys
Cohn, Jonathan
Is this the key you were looking for?
Quick Navigation Keys Suspend Or Resume. control +jaws+NTemporarily suspend or resume from suspending the use of Navigation Quick Keys. If suspended, the setting automatically resumes when a new application or document loads. They will not automatically resume when you switch tabs in your browser, as some web applications simultaneously use multiple tabs.
Not a very easy keystroke, but you should be able to re-assign it in keyboard manager if it helps. I generally use the jaws-Z keystroke when working with JIRA. The other possibility, is what Facebook and twitter do to allow application keystrokes to be run. For these applications, they put code in the web page that tells JAWS to not bind j k, l and c. For this to work, you would need to work with JRA accessibility. Another radical idea would be to create a custom script for JIRA. If you have ideas, I would be willing to work with you on implmenting.
