You do and it is of course not free. I believe it is something like $100 a year.
You can get Office 365 for less than that for personal use and in addition to giving you a license for the full Office suite the subscription also includes 1 Tb of OneDrive storage which is what you get with Dropbox if you pay.
OneDrive works much like Dropbox and since I have the Office 365 subscription I certainly don't see any need to pay Dropbox as well. I still have my free account with I think 11 or 12Gb of storage, but only use it from time to time.

David,

No, you don't have to have separate Dropbox accounts for different devices. That would sort of defeat the convenience of Dropbox. I have one Dropbox account which gives me access on my iPhone 8 to all the files in my Dropbox folders on my computer. That was the reason I got Dropbox to begin with. Apple's closed file system made the sharing of files between computer and iPhone all but impossible and Dropbox was the primary app at the time that worked with most other apps and Windows so I could share files. I've never regretted using it.

Glad you liked my method and instruction. As you can see from that answer, there is more than one way to accomplish the same thing in Windows. The other answer you received is equally as good and works equally as well. It gets you to the same dialog-like display, just via a different path.

I'm nopt even sure it's a Windows problem. I've had phantoms in the system tray that those with sight say they can't see. I wonder if simply restarting JAWS would clear those phantoms.

In a web page

Go to system settings with jaws key plus 6 on the number row

Tabe once and you hear users

Arrow once and you hear Web / HTML / PDFs

Arrow right once and you hear the same as above with open on the end

Arrow down to you hear tables and right arrow

Arrow down to you hear \\Tables\Web / HTML / PDFs \Table Presentation Information and then then press space bar and it changes to for all tables

Now quit the system settings and it will ask you if you wish to save the changes and choose yes and that should do it

Prior to installing the latest Jaws 64 bit update a few days ago, Jaws would read the row position in a web based table as  I arrowed    up the column but since the update, Jaws no longer gives this information.

 

Can someone inform me which settings need to be changed so once more Jaws can give this info?

maybe Dropbox switched to the new design by accident. Try tabbing a few
times till you land on the settings icon. Press the space bar. There should
be some checkboxes talking about starting the dropbox app, which you need to
uncheck. Then there will be a combo box about opening folders. Set that to
file explorer, and you should be good to go now. Tab to OK and press enter
on that.
All your folders should now open using explorer, rather than the somewhat
cumbersame new design.

i just looked in dropbox on line because some google searches suggested that there is accessibility settings in the privacy settings somewhere but all i have found is the privacy terms and conditions.
i'm useing the desktop dropbox folder with windows 7
and in the public folder it has these options that can't be erased.
new folder view
new folder
new paper doc
new paper templet
new google docs file
new google slides file
new google sheets file
new shortcut
owner (my account name)
sharing settings

it still has the public folder. and until yesterday when i tried to paste a file into it jaws or n v d a didn't say if the file was pasted there or not.
i also found out today that when nothing is speaking i have to open the dropdown menu and close it again because the jaws focus is somewhere else. a screen redraw didn't do anything.

Hay Guys,  For a while now, I have noticed that I have 2 system tray icons for JAWS on my system tray, but now I have 4 of them.  I also have 2 iCloud icons.  Why would I have duplicates and how do I get rid of the extra icons?  I only have 2 versions of JAWS installed.

I would use the Windows control panel, programs and features, and uninstall from there, but you probably should leave shared components.

Hi David,

Simply remove the version you don't want through the program removal
function in the control panel. You can easily pull this up by typing
in "programs" into the start menu search.
