Re: Addressing envelopes
Liz and Hope
Good morning! I am in the Business Enterprise program, and I accepted an offer to operate a cafe yesterday. When I was in training my trainer used a dymo labeler printer to make labels for products such as sandwiches and bagels. I want to purchase a dymo labeler printer for my cafe. Which dymo labeler printer would work best with JAWS, and where can I purchase it? Any help will be appreciated.

Is anyone else seeing this behaviour? I can only get the PC cursor on Firefox suddenly so I can’t list links, etc.

Re: Addressing envelopes
CJ &AA MAY
Until I bought my Dymo Label Printer I just printed envelopes in the following way without the need to get special programmes:
First, take out your paper from the printer and place your envelope in it with the flap facing upwards and move the slider across till it touches the edge of the envelope. Now save the address to your clipboard. Then press alt m (for mail) and e (for envelope) and the press enter on the first option, which I think is envelopes and copy the address into the edit field. Then tab down to print.
Hopefully the job is doen.
But I have to say my Dymo label printer is one of the most useful gadgets I have ever purchased.

How to maximize Google screen?
David Pearson
Hello Listers:
Created a keyboard shortcut for Google Chrome. Have just enough light perception in one eye to notice that Chrome isn't opening at its maximum size, but rather in a rectangular shape at far right/bottom of pc screen. What are the keyboard steps that I need to perform to ensure that when I open Chrome, it's "maximized" on my monitor? Thank you, David S. Pearson

This subject has probably been breached before, but here goes. Has anyone had any experience with an accessible envelope addressing software; whether, free or not.

How can I get my data from keep into OneNote?
I’ve done some research but my research shows that I’m supposed to use an app my pc says isn’t safe, so I’m not really sure what to do, because of course, I don’t want to harm my computer.
Can anyone help?

For windows 7, control windows u will bring up several choices, and you must alt tab back and forth to draw attention to speech. Hope this helps.

I don't care what the MS site says. Windows key-Enter does not toggle Narrator on and off in Windows 7, at least not on my HP desktop. I don't think there is any way to toggle it on and off in Windows 7 like there is with the Windows 10 shortcut key Control-Windows key-Enter.

I’m about to try to install Plex on a Wondows 7 desktop running j2019 or possibly j2020. Does anyone have any experience installing and running a Plex Media Server with JAWS?

Re: How do I access the toolbar in chrome?
Jessica D
Hi,
I pressed shift F10, and that brought up the options, but the option I wanted, which was OneNote, did nothing when I clicked it.
Its supposed to ask where you’d like to put the item you clipped, but that didn’t happen for me.
I’m using the latest versions of both Jaws and chrome.
Thanks for any assistance, Jessica

I have a couple extensions installed in Google chrome that I’d like to use.
Apparently, these extensions are on the toolbar.
I’m wondering how to get up there with jaws 2020?

Hi Robin,
It sounds like the ribbons are minimized. Try the following: To navigate ribbons more efficiently the ribbons need to be maximized. The keystroke is, control + F1. This keystroke is a toggle so, this keystroke Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Not sure if it's related, but I recently noticed that I'm having a weird bug with the Outlook ribbon on my home computer. I wasn't sure if it started after a recent upgrade to Office 2016 or to JAWS. In my
case, pressing alt to go to the ribbon tabs where I should be able to left and right arrow across the various tab options no longer works right. When I press Alt, it immediately jumps to the lower ribbon. I cannot seem to get focus to the upper ribbon. To
get to the view ribbon, I have to press alt V. I'm not seeing that here on my work computer, but I'm also likely on a slightly different version of Outlook and still on JAWS 2019 here. I'll have to turn off JAWS and see if the issue persist with Narrator.

Yes, Windows key-U has always worked in Windows 7 to launch Narrator, but this is not a toggle. You have to tab to the exit button to turn it off. In Windows 10, you can ttoggle Narrator on and off at will by pressing Control-Windows key-Enter.
