I’m trying to read a .PDF document but JAWS tells me OCR isn’t loaded.  I’m using J2020, Windows 7 and have Adobe DC on the computer.  This worked fine in J2019..  I’ve done a repair and get the same result.  How do I get this loaded or working?

If you subscribe to Newsline, you can get TV listings and newspapers and magazines via eMail and/or telephone.

In the eMail message, I press #3 to jump from station to station, and I use control + down arrow to move program by program.

If you are using Office 365, you may be using the web version. If so, you need to download the desktop version. A quick way to know which version you are using is to hit the Windows key, type in Excel, then hit the applications key. If you do not hear “open file location”after down arrowing through the choices, you have the web version. You will need to go to Office.com, and log in with your Office account and download the desktop version.

 

If you are not using Office 365, then you have a different problem.

Problem solved.  I did the date and time search and found that the time zone button was not checked.  I checked this button and that corrected the time.  I don’t know how this got unchecked but it’s all good now.

In all seriousness, did you try restarting?

If you did, and nothing changed – just do a windows search for “time and date”.

Everything you need will be there, including a button that you can turn on or off for adjusting to daylight savings (not everyone does this). So, maybe the button got turned off mistakenly somehow. If not…you can still set the time manually, too.
