Well, I have the latest version of iTunes and have had no problems with JAWS 19. Mind you, I just use iTunes for podcasts.

if anyone still has i tunes version 12.60 i would not upgrade. this is the last version that allows you to backup your apps on your computer.
at least if you have bought an app and it is removed from the apple app store you would still have it on your computer and could reinstall it.
you can not do this with the newest i tunes version.

I started to use Itunes with Jaws 2019 and doesn’t work to well. I have a hard time with the playlists I created to show. Then when I navigate around eventualy a certain playlist shows. At least I thought it did. Then I press enter on the play button and it plays a song in a different playlist. Is there a way to change something in Jaws settings or Itune settings to get it to work better?

Thanks for all the help, but my problem persists.  Could it be a setting somewhere.  I am aware of the delete feature.  All 4 files were together.  I have restored 70% of what I lost.  I did have a file called “search my files” or something like that and it is lost as well.  I got it off this list and if the sender has it and is willing to send a link that would be great.
 
 
This is an issue which has just cropped up...and it is super frustrating, but for a work around I just delete one file at a time which works!!!

Because you need to go to Windows control panel and user account and set one up.

Or tap the windows key and type in account and arrow to the account option.

Likewise, as I mentioned in my original post, you can set the screensaver in control panel and the sleep  as well to require a password.

You will be creating a password for the entire computer.

So when you follow the original steps, the entire computer is only accessible to someone with the password.

Pressing B won’t result in an “Agree” button until you scroll through the Terms and Conditions, but Google has provided a button for that and you only have to activate it twice to get through all of this material and get to the “Agree” button.

That is probably because you did not turn on the allow less secure apps in your gMail account settings for that particular account.
So log into that account on-line and go into settings, and I think it may be in advanced.
This allows gMail to be accessed from eMail clients.

I just started setting up a new Google account and when I came to the Terms and Conditions I tried the quick nav key “b” for buttons” to see if there was an “Agree” button.

The first time I pressed it I landed on “Scroll to Agree”. This means you have to scroll through the entire agreement until the “Agree” button shows up. A sighted person would scroll down through the terms and conditions until the button appears. Google has made this action more accessible by including this “Scroll to agree” button. I activated it once and it was still there, as soon as I activated it the second time I then had a “Cancel” and “Agree” button.

If your 4 files were not one right after another then your command would have highlighted all files. If you want to select several files which are not together you have to go to the first one, press and hold the control key and then arrow to the next one, once you get there press spacebar and continue like this without ever letting go of the control key.

I often delete multiple files and I have never had the problem you describe with Jaws.

Hi George,

One thing you can do with Jaws is to press insert + number pad 2 while still holding the shift key, or before letting go of the shift key, this will tell you what is currently selected.

You mentioned that you checked to see what was highlighted, but I am not sure if you used the above command to check this.

Well I have noticed a problem with Jaws and deleting files.  I had four files on a thumb drive I wanted to get rid of.  I highlighted them and then hit the delete key.  Well, all my files, (not folders) were deleted from the thumb drive.  I was able to recover most of them, but it took a lot of time and work and worry!!!

 

I then tried it on another thumb drive with NVDA....no problem, worked great!

 

Then I went back to Jaws and voila....it happened again, although this time I was ok.  Anyone have this kind of issue?  BTW can anyone recommend a good back up program that works with Jaws.

 

BTW I am using Windows 7 (up to date) and the latest and greatest version of Jaws.  From now on...I think I will delete one file at a time, rather than multiple file delete.

 

BTW I used the following to delete:

shift...down arrow and then delete

and I checked and highlighted ONLY the 4 files to delete...thanks.
