I like having the single and double quote on the same key. On a UK
keyboard, the @ sign and double quote are swapped round.

If the ENTER key is vertical, the \key is moved to the top row, to the
left of the BACK SPACE key. If the ENTER key is horrizontal, the \ key
is above the ENTER key

On a UK keyboard, the \ key, is generally to the left of the letter
zed, thus making the left shift key, the same size as an alpha numeric
key. I am used to having a wide left shift key.

As I said previously, given time, I could and would get used to the
changes but, I just prefer the US keyboard layout.

I am a database administrator, mostly with informix, but I also do some
oracle work. I mostly do work by directly logging onto a linux server via
puTTY.

I have not used TOAD for a long time, so cannot comment on how it works with
JAWS.

Oracle Enterprise Manager is working better with JAWS than it used to. It
can still be somewhat cumbersome, but I have been able to use it when I have
needed to.

Oracle Developer would give you the graphical view of a database. I had
tried using that with JAWS on my Windows 7 laptop, but it was impossible to
use due to the amount of memory on my laptop. I am now using Windows 10,
but haven't tried it there yet. It did look like it might have
possibilities with JAWS, but it seemed to be too much of a hog for my
laptop.

Yes, I know one can use SQL*Plus to connect and query a database, but how
does one go about graphically seeing a database with JAWS? I know TOAD
Datapoint is cross-database. Is there a way to make it work with JAWS?

It depends on what you are wanting to do with an oracle database. Are you
trying to use client tools such as SqlPlus or Oracle Developer to connect to
a remote database? Are you trying to use Oracle Enterprise Manager? Are
you connecting to a database directly on a unix or linux server?

For example, if you put John Smith’s email address in the “To” field and Mary Clark’s email address in the CC field then when John Smith gets the email he will see that you also sent the email to Mary Clark.

If, however, you put Mary Clark’s email address in the BCC field, then John Smith will get the email and Mary Clar will get the email, but it will look as if you only sent it to them and not to anybody else.

Alternatively just delete the Dropbox shortcut from your desktop and create a new shortcut which points to your Dropbox folder.

I have tried doing the operation as described below to get DB to open in Windows Explorer, like how the older version worked.  However, so far I have not been successful at making this setting stick.  Is there some trick to try, or some other way of accomplishing this?
