It probably would with respect to the @ sign and double and single quotes, but it wouldn't change the fact that the left shift key is essentially split into two normal sized keys where one is the shift and the other the backslash. I actually have an old Acer laptop which has such a layout and it's a pain in the neck. Obviously there is a physical difference because I recently bought the Das Keyboard 4 Professional mechanical keyboard and they offer a "UK" version.

I like having the single and double quote on the same key. On a UK keyboard, the @ sign and double quote are swapped round. If the ENTER key is vertical, the \key is moved to the top row, to the left of the BACK SPACE key. If the ENTER key is horrizontal, the \ key is above the ENTER key On a UK keyboard, the \ key, is generally to the left of the letter zed, thus making the left shift key, the same size as an alpha numeric key. I am used to having a wide left shift key. As I said previously, given time, I could and would get used to the changes but, I just prefer the US keyboard layout.

Hi Richard,
To create a desktop shortcut to your Dropbox
folder try the following if your Dropbox folder is in its default
location:
1. Press, Windows key + R, to open the Run
dialogue.
2. Type a single period like you would put at
the end of a sentence and press enter. This will take you to your User
name folder.
3. Navigate to your, Dropbox, folder and with
your Dropbox folder highlighted open the context menu with the applications key
or shift + F10.
4. Navigate to, SendTo, press enter, now down
arrow to, Desktop create shortcut, and press enter. Wham bam you now have
the shortcut on your desktop.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Go dodgers! I believe that everything happens for a reason. Usually, the reason is that somebody screwed up.

Thanks for your below. Could you please provide specific instructions how to do this? Deleting the shortcut from my desktop (Windows 7) is pretty straight forward, but the part about creating a new one is a little murky; particularly as regards just how it would login to my DB account? Or, maybe I am over-thinking this, and it is more simple?

Howdy All,
I just ran into an issue with Dropbox where it wouldn't let me acces my files. Well, it turned out that it wanted to update and after downloading the installer and reinstalling Dropbox navigating the folders flat out sucked, so here's how to change the necessary setting for easier navigation.
1. Open Dropbox from the system tray, tab to, Access and Manage your Dropbox settings button, and press enter.
2. Now tab to, Preferences, and press enter.
3. On the General tab, tab to the, Open folders in Dropbox combobox, open this combobox and choose the, Explorer, option. With Jaws you can open this combobox with Alt + down arrow and then up arrow to the Explorer option and press enter to close the combobox. Now tab to, Okay, and press enter to save and close preferences. Note: This can act a little tricky so it might take a couple of attempts to get the Explorer settings change to stick. If you have a shortcut key that opens Dropbox options, after you openDropbox up arrow to, Preferences, press enter and follow step 3 from above.

Re: Finding the toolbar in Chrome
Serious question: What do you mean by the Chrome toolbar?
If you mean the buttons that get added between the omnibox and the menu button, then hitting ALT then Left Arrowing allows you to traverse those. -- Brian - Windows 10 Pro, 64-Bit, Version 1903, Build 18362 Many of the insights of the saint stem from his experience as a sinner. ~ Eric Hoffer

From: main@jfw.groups.io [mailto:main@jfw.groups.io] On Behalf Of Sieghard Weitzel
What is “5 blind people email address by their name”? The keystroke described displays the BCC field when composing a new message, BCC stands for “blind carbon copy” and it simply means that any email address you put into that field will not be seen by any other recipient or recipients. For example, if you put John Smith’s email address in the “To” field and Mary Clark’s email address in the CC field then when John Smith gets the email he will see that you also sent the email to Mary Clark. If, however, you put Mary Clark’s email address in the BCC field, then John Smith will get the email and Mary Clar will get the email, but it will look as if you only sent it to them and not to anybody else. Who the 5 blind people are you are talking about I don’t know. Also, if you repeat the keyboard shortcut sequence which was described it will again hide the BCC field.

Using the latest version of Jaws with latest Windows10. Is the mail app that comes with Windows10 at all usable with Jaws? So far, all I've managed to do is add an account, but now I can't get past the screen with the Add Account button.
If it isn't accessible, what other email clients, other than Thunderbird, can people recommend? I cold use Outlook,b ut that seems like such overkill when all I want to do is get my email.
