Hi Mario,

I asked about this again on the Jaws Beta list and also asked if somebody from Vispero could comment. If I get an answer regarding this on Windows 7 I'll let you know, but as I said, there really should be any need for this and I am not entirely sure if it wouldn't do more harm than good.
I Also asked about why in some cases the ToogleScreenCapture is not in the keyboard manager and will provide the answer once I have it.

You can potentially turn off the accessibility display driver in Jaws 2018, but I am not sure if it would do much good and certainly I don't think you would have the option to set a keyboard shortcut. The keyboard shortcut was introduced in Jaws 2019 in the last few months.
Also, you should not turn off the accessibility display driver if you use Windows 7, not sure why this option is even there, but in Windows 7 the new method for Jaws to obtain information from Windows is of no concern, it only became necessary in Windows 10 for Vispero to look at a new way to get this information. This is why you often can't read anything with the Jaws cursor in Windows 10 where this worked perfectly fine in Windows 7.

right now to view and option chain I have to go to MarketWatch or Yahoo finance.
Apparently to go get the probabilities of full profit and loss on E*TRADE there’s an option to click her but you only you can only click on it with a mouse.
I haven’t figured out how to view the change themselves on the E*TRADE platform.
However we probably want to go off list with this because now we might be getting into stuff that is in jars anymore.

Well, I too use Google Chrome, but I make my trades and check quotes on the phone.  It is easier and quicker for me, since I am doing other things during the day.  Ask E-trade to code your account for special pricing.  Tell them you have trouble with their site using a screen reader.

Maybe somebody can correct me, but I believe if you delete or rename the default.jkm file and then turn Jaws off and back on or restart the computer a new Default.jkm file is created.
I had one computer where the ToggleScreenCapture also did not show up and I think that is what I had to do, but that was I think 3 or 4 months ago and I can't remember exactly.
I would simply rename the default.jkm or copy it to a different location and then try it, should a new default.jkm file not appear you can put it back.

You can still do it by going to Jaws Settings Centre > Default Settings > Miscellaneous and then find Use Accessibility Display Driver and turn it on or off there.

You've already received great advice so far.  There's no real difference, from the end-user on the computer perspective, between an external HDD, SSD, or thumb drive.  All will just show up in File Explorer as another drive on the system.

I do have several suggestions, the first of which is to think about assigning a drive letter of your own choosing for an external HDD using Disk Management (which you can find via a search on "partitions" and will show up as the top result as "Create and format hard disk partitions."   In this case you won't be doing either of the two things mentioned in the title.   The reason I suggest this, and that I do it for myself, is that it makes it much easier to know that when you see something like drive V showing up in your File Explorer that you know exactly which drive you're dealing with.  There are times when automatic drive letter assignment can get confusing as devices are inserted and removed.

Second, since you're a Windows 10 user, if you are not using File History to keep a backup of your precious user data I suggest you do so.

Third, if you don't currently have a full system image backup protocol in place, where you run said backup on a monthly basis, nuking the old backups immediately after the latest is taken (or at least all but the two most recent) consider doing that, too.
