Tom;
if you're not seeing the enhancements option, you already have the windows driver installed. the enhancements option is with the Realtek driver only.

When I get to properties for the realtech sound card, and control tab through the various options, I only get general, level, advanced, and spatial sound.
I thought the enhancements option might be in advanced settings, but it apparently is not.

Hi Rick,
Try this: 1. Press Alt R then t followed by d. 2. Use the up/down arrow keys to find the ‘All markup’ option, then press enter or escape.
3. You should then be back in the main document. 4. Press Shift, Control and Apostrophe simultaneously and use your up/down arrows to read the comments. Pressing escape or tabbing to ‘Ok’ should put the focus on where the comment is but you may have to go up and down with the arrow keys to get Jaws to read both the text and comment.
This link has some good info on using screen readers to access comments.

Hi all,
I have a Microsoft Word document that is being reviewed with comments added by all parties. I receive this as an attachment and for example, arrowing down, I hit the date line upon the cover page. It tells me comment and the initials of the individual commenting and the number of the comment within the document. For example, Jaws says comment abc1 then the date. Another example is within the table of contents, #10 for example is blah blah blah on page blah blah blah. The beginning of this line, Jaws says comment abc2 then the title of this section and the page number that it is on/in..
How do I find the comments? There is obviously something hidden, the said comment, but how to get jaws to read the comment? Hitting enter does not read it nor is anything seen upon the document, visually that is.
Thanks for your help,
Rick

Hi William, Once you've inserted your pivot-table, you need to press f6 to go to the tools pane. You'll first find there a list of buttons that are your column headings. Htting space bar on one of them brings you a menu from where you can define whether they are values, lines or columns. To go back to your actual pivot table, press shit+f6.
That's the basics. then you may learn all vocabulary and options related to pivot table.
Hope that help you to get started. cheers Tanguy

Hello,
I am learning to work with pivot-tables in excel. I think I know how to start: From a data-sheed, I chose insert pivot-table , select the areas with data and I placet he new table with a summary in a new sheed. However, this area is empty.
So, I don’t know if this should be accessible with jaws2019 in excel 2013? Any hints from jaws how to work on a accessible way with pivot tables should be great. Kind regards, William Windels

1. Press Windows Key and start typing "Control" until you hear "Control Panel" and press enter 2. Go to "Sounds" and press enter 3. You should be on the Playback tab, select your default sound device and tab to "Properties" and press enter 4. Press Shift + Tab once, you should be on the "General" tab. 5. Check the other tabs, here is what I have: General Tab Levels Tab Enhancements Tab Advanced Tab Spatial sound Tab Under the Enhancements Tab I have this (I just kept pressing tab to cycle through all options): Immediate mode check box checked List view Environment not checked 1 of 6 Voice Cancellation not checked Pitch Shift not checked Equalizer not checked Virtual Surround not checked Sound Effect Properties Setting : Combo box None 1 of 24 This may look a bit different for you, but just go through it and remember the settings, then turn some checkboxes off if they are checked and see if it helps. Update Hi Tom,
This sounds like Windows updated your soundcard
with a gineric driver and in doing so it took away your Realtech equalizer but
also in doing this, you can't roll back your driver because Windows sees this
gineric driver as the latest driver. I've had this happen in the past, and
the bad sound you're now getting is because you don't have the Enhancements
available that help make Realtech sound good. You need to get the Realtech
drivers that came with your computer and reinstall them. This is only a
personal opinion coming from the same type of situation but, using a desktop
computer and not a laptop.

try this, it may help you to resolve the issue. turn off the Spatial sound from the notification tray, and see if it works.

Open the Control Panel, go to the Sounds link and press enter. 2. Control + Tab to Playback devices and select the Realtech soundcard. 3. Tab to, Properties, and press the spacebar and Control + Tab to the Enhancements page / tab. Here's where you'll find what you're looking for. Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Go Dodgers! I just did a Dell update to my Windows 10 laptop, and now my Jaws speech sounds rather tinny and is very distorted. Lowering the system volume does not lessen the distortion. Is there anything I can do to solve this issue? I’m using the latest build of Jaws 2019 here. Tom Behler
