Yes, I agree.
I may have to call MS Accessibility on this one if we can’t come up with a solution.

Tom, I just tried this in my version of Outlook 2016 and did not get the same issue you did. I sent myself a message from my work account to my home account and copied myself here at work. I then deleted the carbon copied message in my inbox and still see the original message in my sent mail. I cannot see anything in the Mail settings that lead me to understand why this might be occurring for you. I think this is a case where you might want to call Microsoft Accessibility, especially if you can do so with the Be My Eyes app or let someone remote into your computer to see what is happening.

Hi Tom,
As soon as you reply to a message it should be treated as a conversation and of course the same applies if the other person sends another reply or message. If I reply to a message and then right arrow I can then up arrow and even though I am in the Inbox I then see the message I sent which is located in the Sent Items folder.

Bill:
You’re right. … I absolutely don’t want my messages in conversational view, and it seems that conversational view does not happen in my inbox. In other words, I can delete individual messages from the inbox with no problem.
In fact, as I just replied, “show as conversations” is un-checked, which is the way I want things to be.
This is why I don’t understand why carbon copies of my messages in my inbox also get deleted from my sent file when I delete them from the inbox.
This has just started to happen relatively recently, so something in Outlook has changed.

Issue with recent Jaws 2019 update and Outlook 2016 spellcheck
Cristóbal
Hello list, So to the point, After updating Jaws 2019 with the recent April release, I’m noticing that when I try using the spellcheck function of listing all misspellings/typos with the shift+alt+L command, Outlook straight up just crashes. This is with a retail license Outlook Subscription Version 16.0.11601.20144. F7 is fine and so are other features like text analyzer, but for whatever reason, when I do this particular shift+alt+L command, Bye bye Outlook. I’ve tried copying text to the clipboard before invoking this keyboard command and it seems that after the crash the text isn’t saved to paste later. This crashing behavior isn’t something that happens every single time, but enough that I’ve noticed it. Anyone else dealing with this? Thanks, Cristobal

Van Lant, Robin
Justin, What version of Word were you using last? That last person who replied to you may well be right that you need to be sure you’ve installed the Word app to your computer, but also know that the interface for Word’s spell checker changed. In Word 2016, F7 now opens a pane on the right side where you interact. There has definitely been some chatter on these JAWS lists over various methods for spell checking. There are some JAWS webinars on using Word 365 that you may find helpful and I’m sure they cover this topic. The Outlook spell check window is still the old style.

Hello List-members,
I just purchased a one-device annual subscription to Office 365 and I notice the Spell-check works differently in Word than is typical of how it operates with Word in the traditional Microsoft Office Suite. In Microsoft Office, after activating Spell-check, any spelling errors were presented immediately and were easily correctable, as is also the case with Outlook. Office 365 appears to be busier, where different spelling variations of the word are presented and the real error is not presented right away. There is also more tabbing to find the place to select the correct spelling of the word. I’m not explaining this issue very clearly. Have others using 365 noticed this issue?

Dave...
David,
Yep. There's another moderator of a couple lists who dictates without
checking, and I've given up trying to get him to change behavior. And now I'm
being called rude. Oh, my! How will I ever get over that?

Bring it to her attention? Humility is not her strong point and will get you quickly booted off her list. A typical narcistic. Wanting all of the glory but wanting to do as little work as possible.

Marty For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm. Ephesians 6:12, 13

I haven’t responded to this thread for several reasons.
Now can we get back on the topic of this list instead of acting like children?

Where are the moderaters? I would think they'd want to put a stop to this nonsense now that it has gotten way out of hand.

It seems that Jaffar Sidek has a problem with Americans. Referring to them as insular. perhaps you are a typical, insular, American who just can't make himself aware that there are people who can't properly speak your language through no fault of their own, who are not aware of the grammatical rules of your language and who aren't equipped to spell check a language that they aren't native speakers of. Btw, typical is spelled typical. The fraise above denotes an anti American attitude. I have to agree with Ed Legge, here. Time to put this petty stuff behind us and move on to more mature and less flammable topics.

It was saying all Americans are basically self absorbed , arrogant jerks... As an American I take exception to your statement. It was as rude as Davids. On 5/6/2019 2:18 PM, Jaffar Sidek wrote:
