It seems that Jaffar Sidek has a problem with Americans.  Referring to them as insular.  perhaps you are a typical, insular, American who just can't make himself  aware that there are people who can't properly speak your language through no fault of their own, who are not aware of the grammatical rules of your language and who aren't equipped to spell check a language that they aren't native speakers of.  Btw, typical is spelled typical.  The fraise above denotes an anti American attitude.  I have to agree with Ed Legge, here.  Time to put this petty stuff behind us and move on to more mature and less flammable topics.

Still odd that some experience regular service disruptions while others don't.

I believe that files are broken up and put together as we download them, and parts of all files are stored on individual servers grouped together depending on which files are downloaded. Splitting files also sometimes makes for faster average downloads, but when issues happen such as SS has had recently, things just don't come together.

it all the time to exchange stuff with bandmates and people in my

I also use SendSpace. The problem with SendSpace, unless you sign
up for a paid account, the largest file you can upload is 300 MB.

With my Dropbox free account, I have 2 GB, without any upload or

expensive.

I use Pcloud, accessible with Jaws and other screen readers.

I believe that files are broken up and put together as we download them, and parts of all files are stored on individual servers grouped together depending on which files are downloaded. Splitting files also sometimes makes for faster average downloads, but when issues happen such as SS has had recently, things just don't come together.

I also use SendSpace. The problem with SendSpace, unless you sign up

With my Dropbox free account, I have 2 GB, without any upload or

need it. The wizard can be downloaded onto any computer (though it only
works for those who have accounts and maybe only paid accounts at that) and
you can easily upload and download files with a single keystroke. Pretty
good.

Hello there:

I also use SendSpace. The problem with SendSpace, unless you sign up for a
paid account, the largest file you can upload is 300 MB.

With my Dropbox free account, I have 2 GB, without any upload or download
limit, except for the 2 GB maximum.

Sincerely:

Dave Durber

Good morning,

I use Sendspace. It's accessible with screen readers. But it's very
expensive.

I use Pcloud, accessible with Jaws and other screen readers.

I think there are different payment methods and it might be cheaper if you
pay a lump sum for a year or two or something, however I believe I am paying
$10 a month at the moment.

I have a paid sendspace account. The wizard is terrific. Not sure if they
have phone apps 9I think they might) but I don't use such things generally
so it doesn't matter much. I have the option in my context menu in File
Explorer to upload files to sendspace and I use it all the time to exchange
stuff with bandmates and people in my film group and others, as well as
having a repository of a bunch of useful stuff on file remotely for when I
need it. The wizard can be downloaded onto any computer (though it only
works for those who have accounts and maybe only paid accounts at that) and
you can easily upload and download files with a single keystroke. Pretty
good.

Re: Excel not speaking the first digit when a number is entered

Van Lant, Robin

Wow, I haven't seen any of this behavior in Excel. There are certainly configuration differences with whether users have JAWS set to read contents, cell coordinates, or both, but this is different. Wish I had an idea for you. Maybe temporarily use JAWS default settings to see if the issue is resolved. Use the layered command of JAWS key spacebar, then z.

Excel 2016; JAWS 2019, windows 10.

When I type a number into a cel and press tab, JAWS speaks all the
digits except the first one. So '23' becomes '3', "2003'
becomes "003", '2203' becomes '203', and so on. Am I the only one
experiencing this?

thanks,

Ann
