Re: Major problem
Van Lant, Robin
Yes, I thought I was accidentally hitting caps lock somehow, but maybe that's not the case. I'm also seeing where JAWS says that I have control and/or alt held down. I just had this happen and tried someone's idea of hitting the left and right Alt keys repeateadly back and forth and surprisingly, that cleared it. I then did it with the control key and, again, it seemed to clear the issue. ItCertainly is an odd issue.

Re: Unable to quit JAWS using Insert+F4

Are you not running Jaws from the system tray? If doing an insert/jaws key plus J doesn't put you in to the Jaws options, that is telling you that all you need to do is put Jaws in to the system tray. Then, insert/Jaws F4 will work the way you want it to.

If you can alt tab to the Jaws options menu, then go in to basics and tab to run Jaws in the system tray and check that check box. Good luck, James B

it sounds like you need to change the behavior of the function keys. using a dell computer, you can, 1, go to desktop, 2, hold down the FNKey, now press the escape key. now try the keystroke insert+f4. you can also do, FNKey+insert+f4. Re: Editing signature Outlook2016 JAWS2019
For me using Office 365 I go to File > Options > Mail category and then I tab to the button "Signatures..." and activate it.
toggle quoted messageShow quoted text
It puts me immediately on the OK button, if you tab forward you go to Cancel, than the email signatures tab, then the list of signatures, after that you have buttons for "New", "Delete" and "Rename", after that the drop-down fields where you select the signature you want for new messages and replys. After that you have Font, font size and so on, eventually you get to a "Picture" and "Hyperlink" button and one tab after Hyperlink you are in the edit field. Alternatively, you can simply press Shift+Tab once when you are on the OK button and that takes you into the edit field. Now, for me when I just tried it the first time I arrived in the edit field either by tabbing forward or pressing Shift+Tab, I could not review the text of my signature. However, if I pressed tab and then once I was in the edit field I pressed it once more to get to OK and then pressed Shift+Tab to go back then I cou;ld review and edit the signature. Similarly if I pressed Shift+Tab right away I could not review the text, but pressing Shift+Tab once more to the "Hyperlink" button and then pressing tab again to go forward into the edit box I could then review and change the text. I know this sounds complicated and I don't know why it doesn't work the first time you get to the edit field regardless whether it's by pressing tab a lot of Shift+Tab once I don't know, but this is how it works for me.

Microsoft Teams is not at all the same as Teamviewer. Teams is a communications platform, it replaced Skype for Business.

Re: zipping files
