Is it a Microsoft Exchange account (including Office 365), or an IMAP account? If the latter, perhaps the server has been upgraded and may not be tracking the reply status properly.

Hello, everyone.
I am not sure if this a Jaws or an Outlook problem, but I am experienceing strange and inconsistent behavior in Outlook with regard to noting e-mails that I have replied to.
Up until recently, if I replied to an e-mail, and decided to keep the original e-mail in my inbox, that e-mail would have a “replied” designation associated with it. I find this to be quite handy, especially when I have e-mails that require multiple responses or action steps.
However, within the past week or so, I no longer consistently receive these “replied” designations. In other words, sometimes I receive the designations, while other times, I do not.
This is a problem, since I sometimes can’t recall whether I’ve initially replied to a message, and have to go back into my sent file to find out for sure.
Does anyone know how to consistently restore the “replied” designation on e-mails to which I’ve already responded?
I’m currently using the latest build of Jaws 2019 with the Office 365 version of Outlook 2016, and Windows 10.
Thank you!

Hi,
Where I volunteer I am using a windows 7 machine, Jaws 2018 and Excel 2010. To get the background color change to report I have to press insert + 5 or insert + F twice to hear the changed background color. It probably shouldnt be that way, but it works!

Hi,
Thanks for confirming that I’m not the only one having this issue. I found a bit of a workaround. There is a setting in Excel, under Quick Settings (Insert + V) called “Shading changes indication”, and when I turn this on, Jaws will announce any color shading changes when moving into a cell. I would still prefer the usual keystrokes to give me that info, but till Vispero sees fit to fix this issue, I’ll continue with the Shading changes indication. The only thing I don’t like about this setting is that every time I go to a cell with no shading, I must hear Jaws say “no shading”. Not a big deal, just a little annoying! 😊
Thanks again.

Hi everyone,
I am trying to use Conditional formatting in both Excel 2016 and 2019. I choose to use a formula to decide which cells are formatted, choose cells in sheet 1 that do not equal cells in sheet 2, and choose to fill the cells matching the criteria with a red background fill. The conditional formatting is working, but using Jaws 2019, I have no way of knowing whether or not it is working, because Jaws reads “text color black, background color white” when I press Insert + F, and “Black on white” when I press Insert + 5 on cells that have different values. If I load NVDA and press Insert+ F on these cells, NVDA says “black on bright red background”.
Has anyone else noticed this? I am getting so frustrated with Jaws not being able to do basic things like this when a free screen reader like NVDA is able to do it with no problem!
Thanks for any feedback.

Apart from the shortcuts, Alt + L, Alt + R and Alt + D you can just use Jaws Key + F111 and arrow to your Wi-Fi, then tab. Sorry if I didn’t specify this, I assumed you knew about this and that there are these options in addition to just pressing enter which doesn’t always work.

Hi, Maria. All you need to do to get the options is, when you use JAWS key plus F11, don’t press ENTER. Just TAB, and JAWS will say in order:
Right Single Click Button To activate press spacebar. alt+R Left Single Click Button To activate press spacebar. alt+L Left Double Click Button To activate press spacebar. alt+D

Here is what I get if I go to the System Tray with Jaws Key + F11, then to my Wi-Fi network which is called SJR and then activate with a left double click (the trick is that you have to take advantage of the Jaws options Left Single Click, Right Single Click and Left Double Click, enter does not work here, but that is why these options exist: List box If I tab I get the following: Properties Link 1 of 1 – tab again Disconnect Button 1 of 1 – tab again Network & Internet settings Link – tab again Wi-Fi Button checked – tab again Airplane mode Button not checked – tab again Mobile hotspot Button not checked – tab again Network & Internet settings Link - if I keep tabbing from here the sequence from Wi-Fi button to Network and Internet Setting repeats.

Accessible price tracking extensions?
Cristóbal
Hello list, I’m in search of an accessible price tracking service/extension. I’ve tried CamelCamelCamel Keepa, Price Plus and Honey for example. For the usual sites, Amazon, NewEgg, BestBuy and so on, but all in all, they don’t really provide this info in an accessible format. They’re all pretty much graph/chart driven. There is sometimes some info that can be accessed. CamelCamelCamel can provide the highest/lowest price, but as far as more detailed info? Not really. Is anyone aware of a service/extension that can provide this sort of information in an accessible manner? I’m guessing most likely in a table format? To be clear, I’m not looking for a price tracker that can alert one when there’s a price drop. That I can get to work fine. It’s the historical price tracking stuff I’m interested in. My main screen reader is Jaws, but I can also use NVDA if that makes any sort of a difference. Thanks,
