Re: accessing the clipboard
Bill White <billwhite92701@...>
Hi, Tom. You can access the clipboard in one of two ways. JAWS key plus WINKey plus X will read the text in the clipboard aloud.
JAWS key plus SPACE, followed by the letter C will put you into the clipboard text buffer. If there is text in this buffer, you will be able to arrow through it as if it were a document or a text file. When finished, press ESCAPE.

Hi,
Using: W10 Home 64, Jaws 2018 and 2019 beta 3.
After saving some text to the clipboard, can someone please inform me which Jaws command to use in order to interrogate the clipboard to determine whether the text has been saved.
Often I go through the motions to save text to the clipboard, move to where the text is to be pasted only to discover the text is not available.
I want to check if the text is available prior to moving elsewhere.
Does this also work if the contents of the clipboard is a file rather than text? i.e. Does it read out the filename?
Thanks Tom

Subject: Re: New Winamp beta on winamp.com People use Winamp because of the powerful keyboard support implemented in JAWS scripts and in the NVDA add-on. Also, the keyboard support in the program itself. One usually wants something to replace Windows Media Player, and Winamp is both powerful and simple.

hi, I wonder why people keep using winamp, I haven't used it for many many years now, so I really want to know some features about this winamp beta, if someone already tryed it out. Mostly I'm interested in listening to audiobooks so, it's easy to know current and remaining time? and, does winamp allow to resume so I can stop and re take later my audiobook? thanks for further information.

Re: Paste Special in Word 2016
Marty Hutchings
Kevin, When you select text in a document, you selected the text and all of it's atributes, i.e. the font, size, orientation alignment, and color. When you hit Control+V to paste the selected text into a document, all of these atributes are pasted along with the text. When you use Paste Special, you have a menu of choices as to how you want the text to appear in your document. You can choose text only, which will insert the text into your document allowing it to take on the formatting of your document, or you can choose to insert the selected text along with its original formatting. HTH.

Hello, I use to use both Chicken Nugget and TW Blue for Twitter on my computer but neither of those apps will work for me now so I am wondering what you all use for Twitter these days? Are there any other accessible Twitter clients out there or are we pretty much out of luck when it comes to using Twitter on the PC? Scott
