When in Chrome, do Insert V to open the JAWS settings for Chrome. Near the bottom of the tree view, you’ll find the progress bar verbosity settings.   You can either turn them off or I think you can change how often they let you know of the progress.

I am also having the Outlook auto fill issue. Jaws 2018 is working just fine with the auto fill so it is my belief that this is a problem on Freedom Scientific's end. I have filled out the public beta form so I'm sure they're aware of this issue.

I agree, when I print my daily Z Report from my point of sale system using Microsoft Print to PDF the resulting PDF file used to have simple tables, e.g. the various tenders like Visa, Mastercard, Debit Card, Cash and so on in the left column and the amounts in the right and now when I open said PDF in Adobe it just reads "Visa $1,000.00" all in one line.

Can anyone give me any thoughts on running Jaws with a Focus Blue 14 Braille display on a GDP Pocket2 small laptop.  I will include the IndieGoGo link which has all of the specs at the end of my email.

 

I am running an ElBraille for note taking needs right now, but I find it to be slow using office 365, and I have a hard time performing windows updates with the 30GB hard drive on the ElBraille.

 

It looks like I would trade the convenience of having my Braille display docked in the ElBraille for a faster experience on the GDP Pocket2, and gain a mini keyboard and screen.  The GDP Pocket2 is less expensive than the ElBraille as well.

 

I would appreciate any feedback from some of you who know more about processor speed and performance.

My question was really asking...Is there a keystroke for Jaws to tell me where on any webpage or document on which line I am sitting on?
The only way I found so far is use the keystrokes..alt/deltte to give me the pixel position.
Any other thoughts?

Hello user, to know what current line you’re on, press your jaws key plus the number two on your number pad. Hope this helps by the way, if you want to know anything about keystrokes, press JAWS ke plus one. This will get you in to help. Then, you can press in a keystroke combination you would like. Jars will usually say what that combination does. Press the combination twice quickly to get more information.

I guess the people who have problems with auto complete not being read by Jaws should mention exactly which Outlook version they use. Also, Jonas, have you contacted Jaws support about it to see if they can figure out why a feature which is working well for almost everybody else isn’t working for you?
