Re: Notifications in Outlook2016
Bill White <billwhite92701@...>
Hi, Kevin. Did you find a way to turn of new mail alerts?  They’re under Outlook Options>Mail. Press ALT, F, T. Arrow down to Mail, and TAB over, several times. You should see a check box which says Desktop Alerts. If the check box is checked, uncheck it with the Space Bar. TAB to the OK button, and press ENTER.  Now the New Mail alerts should be off.  Â

Re: Firefox Alerts - How to Gain Focus?
Bill,
The problem is that one does not have focus anymore. I can see that and have tried ALT+R (which would work if focus were on the notification, but it's not). One must get focus back to the notification and ALT+D, followed by SHIFT+TAB (sometimes more than once) will get you there. CathyAnne,        I'll give that a try. Windows generally gives "many roads to Rome" and I'm sure this is no exception. -- Brian - Windows 10 Home, 64-Bit, Version 1803, Build 17134     A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep.          ~ Saul Bellow, To Jerusalem and Back

Re: Firefox Alerts - How to Gain Focus?
Bill,
This is not a system alert, it is a Firefox alert, and it does hang out for quite a while.      Two proposed methods have been given, ALT+R [which my gut is telling me probably won't work] or using ALT+D to get to the address bar, then Shift + Tab until you hear "Alert button," which you can then activate to get focus. -- Brian - Windows 10 Home, 64-Bit, Version 1803, Build 17134     A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep.          ~ Saul Bellow, To Jerusalem and Back

Scripts won't help you find activation codes. They come from the manufacturers of the thing(s) you want registered with Ilok.
