I tried to find the template normal.dot so I could renaime itto try to get word to start fresh. When I try to search for the template it won't find the template on my computer it wants to go to the web. To search I am pressing the windows key and letting up on it and then type normal.dot can't find it on my computer because the search wants to go out to the web. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: Trouble blocking emails/Outlook 2016
David & his pack of dogs <myguidedogis@...>
Sadly it is misnamed. If you want to block a domain, you enable block sender. It’s dumb, however, that is the way outlook 2016 has it set up. If there is a way to enable just block domain and not sender or the reverse, I don’t know about it. Once a long time ago I wanted to block someone, and I ended up blocking the entire JAWS list.

When I say “block” I clicked on “block sender”. Also, I’m 100% sure the email addresses of the ones I’ve blocked that keep showing up are exactly the same

Re: Trouble blocking emails/Outlook 2016
Bill White <billwhite92701@...>
Hi, Laura. There is no choice to block a domain. Instead, block the sender. Then, once this is done, go into Junkmail options, go to the blocked senders list, click the edit field. Once you have clicked the edit field, you will see the address of the person you blocked. Now that you see the email address you blocked, just delete everything up to the at sign. For example, if you blocked an email address similar to the following:
Take out
carlos123@
and just leave gmail.com
Now the entire domain of
gmail.com
is blocked.

Recommended settings for Chrome and JAWS?
James Homuth
Hey folks. So I’ve been using chrome as default browser for a bit now, and with the exception of one or two things I need for work have pretty much retired IE. I’m wondering if there are any settings I can change to make chrome just that little bit less annoying to use so that I can retire IE completely. My problem is certain sites don’t read quite as well in chrome as they do in IE. I’m not entirely sure if that’s a JAWS problem or a chrome problem, but I’ll accept any changes I can make to either if they help. Using latest chrome and JAWS 18, if that makes a difference. Thanks either way.

Re: ARIA Grid support

Hi Don,

I am not sure of the FF 56 and above. However JAWS supports ARIA Grid structure in IE 11 and FF 52.9.0. To have the proper user experience for navigating with arrow keys the focus need to be managed with the scripting. The arrrow key navigation works properly only when JAWS is on forms mode not on forms mode off. Thanks & Regards, Mohith B. P.

Yes, I like the Autocomplete feature as well, but not for those addresses which I haven’t put into my contacts. I wish there was a setting that would suppress autocompletion with addresses which are only from previously received email, and which are not in the contacts (addressbook).

Hi again, Richard. Yes, the do not remember setting is also in mail, and looks similar to the following:
Use Auto-Complete List to suggest names when typing in the To, Cc, and Bcc lines check box. You want this unchecked if you do not want contacts to be suggested as you type into the To, CC, and BCC fields of your outgoing message.
