Lory, are you able to upgrade to this version? in other words: the SMA associated with your licence key go up to jaws 13.0 or more?

Hi I'm upgrading from Jaws 11 to 13, but when I run the activation
wizard and activate by the net I get a box telling me the activation was
successful, then when I exit that another box comes up saying my
authorisation code was for an older version. I've checked my serial
number and everything is correct, so I'm not sure what else could be
going wrong. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks from Lori.

Hello there;

First,
Have you checked on;

www.fsactivate to make sure you have sufficient keys available,
next,
what operating system are you using?
If it's windows 7, perhaps the UAC, "user account control"
Is preventing the activation.
I've had this problem with a couple of my clients.

When you write on somebody else's wall, you are also sharing the information
to the other person and anyone else who can see your wall posts. This is why
should the link be of a private matter you should use the messages feature
and post the link to the other person privately.

Re: [Bulk] number pad

Dave...

Mike,

Not sure that will work. You're wanting one numpad to be used as a number
pad while the other is used for JAWS commands, and I think the key mapping
will overlap. But that's a very interesting concept. Can you give FS a call
to see if anyone knows? Might come in handy some day.

I was wondering if anyone knows if you can use an external number pad along
with the built in one. I am doing a lot of work with excel and would like to
add an external number pad so One can be on while the other is off. This
would allow me to enter numbers and still have use of all of the functions
with jaws. Thanks Mike

I have two problems:
dropdown menus not being findable for me on bill pay sites or store sites.
They are not there for me using jaws 13 and xp service pack 3.

Second, java and or javascript seems to make sections of websites illegible
and or unnavigable with screen readers. Is this a trend?

Adding links on blogger.com

Nickus de Vos <bigboy529@...>

Hi all firstly I use windows 7 ultimate, internet explorer 9 and jaws
13. I'm trying to insert links in my posts on blogger.com.
The way to do this is to highlight the text you want to turn in to the
link and then to click on the link button and type the URL. With jaws
I highlight the text with shift + arrows, then I arrow up to where the
link button is, I then route jaws to pc with jaws key + numpad -, then
left click with numpad /. I then enter the URL and test the link,
after I see that it works I press ok. It enters the link but the
problem is it enters the link in the first line of the post no matter
where the highlighted text was. In the help files it also says you can
highlight the text then press control + shift plus A to enter the box
where you enter the links URL but this doesn't seem to work. If
there's no way to do this with jaws the last resort would be to
manually enter the link each time but this would be a huge mission so
if someone can help please do.

Nickus

Re: Itunes help please

chris hallsworth <christopherh40@...>

Talking of iTunes, has anyone noticed in the latest iTunes that redeeming a gift certificate or card is not as accessible as it used to be. You can still click the redeem link in the main iTunes store, but the edit box to type the code in cannot be navigated with the arrow keys. Apparently tabbing to the redeem button, then shift-tabbing back to the edit box, is a workaround, but it should work like any other edit box in the first place.
Thanks if you can duplicate this.

Hi everyone, and a happy new year.

I have tried many times to write a directly e-mail to the owners of the
project called "Webvisum", and I have also tried to send mails to the

When I write via the website (http://www.webvisum.com), nothing happend.

Does any person have a contact information to the owners, so I can tell that
the server not working?

Very thanks.

If you are interested, the correct URL for downloading the plugin is
http://www.webvisum.com/plugin/webvisum-0.9.1.xpi

which is slightly different from the URL triggered by the install
button (that is missing the '.' between '1' and 'xpi').

I do find it somewhat odd how the software still works but there is no
movement from the official contacts.
