Hi list members, from what I understand, you should be able to perform the following key strokes press the windows key until you hear search then type windows defender press enter there you should be able to find the scan results.  Also if you have the current windows updateyou should find 2 new items listed in windows defender that should help you stay secure.

Hi, after you've done a scan on your system if everything is fine then you would get nothing.  If something was rong then there would be something saying that viruses were found and what you need to do to get rid of the viruses,  also might I add that from time to time you should do a full scan of your system.  It takes longer than the quick scan, but at least you've scanned your computer and no viruses are found.

Hi Tom.

To select what you want to delete, get to the beginning of what you want to delete and press B.  Next, get to the end of what you want to delete and press N.  Finally, to delete the selected part of the file just hit DEL.

There are other things you can do with mp3 Direct Cut, but I can’t remember what they are.

Hope this works for you.

Have a blessed day and don’t work too hard.

After doing numerous Google searches, all that came up was some videos using the mouse on how to use the program but attempting to cut an mp3 file with Jaws is vastly different.

I have an musical mp3 file which has a lot of clapping and talk at the end of the track which would be great if the last few minutes could be removed. Hitting the spacebar and touches of the right arrow takes me to the spot where the cut needs to be done but after that I get lost.

Hoping someone can help.

I think the issue is the connection to the service. If you found an old executable of the program, it probably wouldn't have anything it could connect to. Seems to me I heard that service was discontinued, and when I heard this, I wondered how long people had been using it. I stopped using it in about 2001.

Hi, Annabelle. I think AIM has been discontinued since about 2016.

Subject: Does AIM Work with JAWS?

Hi, it's Annabelle.

I used to have AIM on my computer, but unfortunately it was lost when my laptop's motherboard went out. This was almost 9 years ago when I had an old IBM Thinkpad. Which brings me to my questions.

1. Is AIM still available to download or purchase? If so, where can I find it?

2. Does it work with any versions of JAWS? I have all versions of JAWS from 3.7 all the way up to JAWS 15.

Re: Skype eight (8) commands..

Hi Steve,

same for me.
What's more, when I'm composing a message in Windows Live Mail, I always get the stupid layered Skype key in stead of the letter, which is a German u umlaut.
I Cannot even change the key combination to something different.

Nermin

latest mp3directcut and Jaws 2018

Tom <tomcat509@...>

Hi,Has anyone got a text tutorial for the latest version of mp3directcut they could send me? Even a list of keyboard commands would be great.

Thanks

Tom

Hello, I’m using Windows 10 and Jaws2018. I did a scan using Windows Defender. I never got any messages saying there was or wasn’t any viruses. I looked in history and nothing shows up. Do I need to look somewhere else?

For those who like these kinds of things, here's an HTML table with the
recently posted Skype 8 shortcut key commands.

I wish I could get my Skype 8.25 to work! Doug Lee's scripts keep telling me I have the Chrome settings loaded, and none of his shortcuts, not to mention the ones in my table, work at all. Very frustrating.
