Tab nor using the left and right arrows neither one work for me. I am using the latest version of JAWS 64-bit, and Firefox 52.9.0 (64-bit) (perhaps I need to upgrade). Oh, and using Windows 10.

Interesting how some things work for one but not for another.

i have this slow problem also. i have had to go back to jaws 16 to not have that problem. its not just in explorer its in all applications. i can't stand the lag. if you have 16 give that a try.

Sometimes when using Windows Explorer everything runs very slowly. It

You list may be grouped.

Try this:
1. Open the view ribbon (ALT-V)
2. Activate the “Group By” command (G)

Within the drop-down list, activate (None).

Hopefully, that restores the normal view.

Hi, David. I know of no way to have Internet Explorer Favorites in Edge. What I did, though, was to go into my user folder, and find the Favorites folder inside. Once you find this folder, you can make a shortcut to it on the desktop. Then, if you’re using Edge as your default browser, just open the favorites folder from the desktop, click one of the existing favorites, and it will open in whatever is your default browser.

Windows Explorer messed-up view

Hi Gang: I have some weird occurrence on my new daw in the Windows explorer view. No matter what I try to do under [view], I can’t get rid of these ridiculous expanded headings, such as [I n-p (9) row header] or [q n-z (7) row header]

 

Under each of these, there are first some folders, then some files. Yes, there are single .wav files under each after the folders.

 

Can someone please tell me (like I’m a two-year-old) what to do here?

2. After installing and testing that everything works, export your
JAWS settings. Thus you will be able to import them whenever you need
to upgrade JAWS.

If you have a folder or several folders containing audio files ripped to
.mp3 format, which, when played, play at varying sound levels, you can use
MP3 Gain to change the volume of all the .MP3 files to the same audio level.

I am using this program, curtacy of Steve Matzura, who suggested it to me.

Currently I have a few usb sticks containing numerous music tracks by
different artists but each track seems to have a different volume level.
