Hi.

 

As someone stated, SHIFT+F10 at the same time is what you’d use in place of the application key, but you might need to set your function keys on the laptop to Windows.  A laptop that I had mapped the function keys to different functions such as turning on and off WI-FI.  I don’t know how to change this on a laptop.

Try shift-f10 That is the Windows keyboard command to bring up the context menu.

Hi Tim,

It has been years since I used DVD Audio Extractor, but when I last used it,
it only ripped audio. The website still does not mention any video format
conversion. Can you or anyone else confirm that it will rip to video files
as well now? Thank you for the lead!

Handbreak plus a .dll you have to download should work -- its a bit
quirky with jaws, however.

Hello,

     To add favorites to Edge, do this. If you’re on the website you’d like to add, press CTRL d. this puts you in the favorite name and favorite URL location. Of course, if you’re using JAWS, it’ll say “Favorite name” on the main section. If you tab once, “favorite URL” is stated by JAWS. Another press of tab gets you into the “save in favorites folder” item. The next press of tab allows you to add the favorite, and the last can allow you to cancel. Once again, when you’re on the site, press CTRL d. you can rename the favorite here if you wish. Tab until you get to the “save in” box, and you can expand this by pressing enter. If you want the favorite to be saved in the defalt folder—mine’s the favorites folder--, you tab to add favorite. Once pressed, JAWS says, “favorite added! Find it in hub.” Just press escape, and you’re done. If you’d like to get to your favorites, press CTRL i. Need any more help? Feel free to write me back/the list again.

Ocassionally I receive an email in HTML which crash my Outlook 2010 & either my Jaws 2018. It must be a particular type of email that some businesses use that Outlook 2010 and Jaws 2018 doesn’t like. As soon as I move or delete that email from the last email shown in my inbox bingo Outlook 2010 and Jaws are happy and Outlook 2010 loads nicely again and doesn’t hang or crash. Has anyone else come across this weird email?
