Marilyn Bland <tinkerbelltx@...>

Hello list,

Please help. I know the information is out there for me to find, but I need it urgently and hope asking here will save me a great deal of time and frustration.

I'm using JFW 17 last version and Windows 7.

I have a fairly large document that needs to be formatted with the following requirements:

Margins all round = 1 inch
Single line spacing
Font size 12
Font in Times New Roman

All help will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks.

Marilyn

Hi,

As I said before, disable all enhancements, and set Communications to Do Nothing, and your problems should go away, unless it is a Dell computer, in which case, the sound drivers are awful.

All the best

That is too funny, though sad. Have you tried other voices?

I have never had this issue, but it is somewhat outrageous that they would tell you to install a different sound card on a system that has had no sound issues.

I think that is a tech who doesn't want to admit that their software is not compatible with your specific card, which is on them and they need to fix it.

At least, that is how I would see that.

Another thought is to try a different voice and see if it works.

I use the Vocalizer Tom voice, but there are a lot of voices to choose from.

Hi,

Again thanks for all the response to my issues with Amazon last evening.
My order confirmation finally showed up in my inbox and although it
wasn't there at 10:00 PM when I shut down my computer, it was there this
morning and appears to have been sent at 7:45 PM, the time I ordered the
product. I use Thunderbird and every now and then it is apparent a
message is delayed in its arrival. This must have been one of those
times. I have no idea why that happens, but all is well.

And this morning there was also a message sent at 5:21 AM that my order
has shipped. So all is really well!

I remember a time about a year ago that I had problems with the website
one day and gave up. The next day I tried again and had no problems. I
guess that is just the practice I need to do whenever I am frustrated.
