I have never used a prompt for this so I dont know how it will behave. I use custom lables instead. put focus on the item you want to label and press jaws + F2 and arrow to custom lable. This will open a window that allows you to assign a label that makes sense.

OK, Steve & Shannon. Here's what the help topic in JAWS says about creating
prompts for software.

Add and Change Prompts
Prompts are labels for controls in dialog boxes. Some of the time, JAWS does
not read a prompt, or the prompt that is provided is not very meaningful.
Now, when you find a prompt like this, just assign the prompt you want JAWS
to speak and display in Braille. And if you want a brief reminder spoken
whenever you move to a particular control, just add a custom tutor message
to provide this information.

Creating a Prompt
To create a prompt:

Move to the control for which the prompt is not properly spoken.
Press CTRL+INSERT+TAB.
A dialog box appears to walk you through the creation of the prompt. On the
first page, enter the prompt for the control as you want JAWS to speak it,
and then select Next.
On the second page, enter the prompt for the control as you want JAWS to
display it in Braille, and then select Next.
On the third page, specify a Tutor message to provide assistance with
navigation or the use of this control. If you leave the Tutor message blank,
the default message is used. Select Finish to create your prompt.

Note: You can also press INSERT+F2 to open the Run JAWS Manager dialog and
select Prompt Create from the list to create a prompt.

I don’t' get this. You're going to create a folder to put everything in that folder creating God knows how many subfolders when the bookmarks tab itself is more or less a folder itself already? A simple Alt plus B and first letter navigation seems easy enough. Personally, I went into my FireFox configuration settings and disabled the recent option from showing up, but even then, it's no big deal if it's there.

This is a sporadic issue for them. Sometimes you have to get technical support to go in and give you a different unlocking code.

I don’t know how to reply to a comment, with or without JAWS. I don’t think replying to comments is an MS Word feature.

You can edit the comment. Go to next change in track changes until you enter the comment bubble, then edit the text. Escape key takes you out of the bubble and returns to body text.

I don’t know the standard keyboard shortcut for going to next or previous change, as I have assigned those to my quick access toolbar, so for me they are alt+1 and alt+2.

To delete a comment, go to the comment bubble as I (sort of) just described, hit the context menu key, arrow down to delete comment, and hit enter.

Re: Two JAWS Questions

Mario

Barbara, the last time I came across a website that had that "I'm not a
robot" checkbox, I had to enter some preliminary info and activate the
submit bu tton. then I had to enter some more info and activate a "get
an audio challenge", listen to it and enter the words it played, then
activate the verify button. if the verification was successful, I then
was returned to the beginning to the "I'm not a robot" checkbox, which
now I could check with a press of the spacebar and then the submit. now
if I return to that website, the checkbox should not appear because I
have been verified to not be a robot. I think this verification process
is stored on the server that stores your preliminary and intermediate
info, but am not sure if clearing the browser's cache or deleting the
cookie for that site wipes out the verification, in which you'll have to
start all over.
I think this is what Google calls their Invisible CAPTCHA project. not
all sites are using it yet.

says I am not a robot.  I cannot figure out how to check this.  I have

the alt key.  I do not find anything which refers to an audio option
or at least nothing is apparent.  Smile.  What to do?

Next both in IE and sometimes in Outlook 2013, JAWS appears to be
slightly off.  In IE, there is nothing on the screen when I use the
arrows.  However often, not always, if I alt-tab away and then alt-tab
back, the screen reads.  Is there a hot key to do this instead of
using the alt-tab?  On a similar vein, I will open an email which has
headings.  I use the h hotkey to move among the information. Sometimes
I get a table view instead.  If I close the email, maybe move up or

is there a hot key to resolve this without me performing the extra key
