Hi
Mario,
Â
I couldn't find
the sounds using the file path you posted, but instead found them
here:
Â
C:\ProgramData\Freedom
Scientific\JAWS\16.0\SETTINGS\enu\SOUNDS
Â
This is where the
sounds for all Jaws versions are saved / stored.
The Sounds folder
in your path was empty, & even after unhiding all files / folders it was
still empty.
Take care. Mike. Sent from my iBarstool. Arguing with a woman is like reading a software license agreement. In the end you have to ignore everything, & click I agree.

Hi Mario,

I only have Jaws 2018 and thanks to your info, I found them in: "C:\ProgramData\Freedom Scientific\JAWS\2018\SETTINGS\enu\SOUNDS" I don't know that I'll ever do anything with this, but it is fun to know about. Someone at Freedom Scientific must have been a Victor Borge fan. For those who do not know that name, he was an excellent pianist, but also a very funny comedian who had a great routine about phonetic punctuation. You can check it out on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a7BXPKyikB0 Thanks, Richard

I am a developer and often times I have to listen to tongue twisters of punctuation marks, like "left bracket right brace left paren ..." I wish to replace all these parens and brackets with sounds. Is there a way to do so in Jaws? Thanks Tony
