Good afternoon. I’m hoping that Someone can help me. I’m trying to select more than one email to delete at a time and the space bar and the enter key are not checking my emails in Google. It has worked in the past but is not working even though I have it in the basic HTML setting. Any suggestions?

You can also, if your touchpad supports it, set it changes volume with finger drag on the touchpad

Check in settings > devices > touchpad >  swipes

Press insert plus f11, arrow to speakers and press enter, enter on open volume mixer.  There you will see all your volume settings that you can change.

Mike, from a note I saved from some discussion somewhere (I'm not sure
if it still applies to the Fall Creators update):

if you want your windows 10 to load directly on to the desktop,

you need to go into, ctrl panel and taskbar properties.

now, go to navigation and tab until you hear "When I sign in, go to the
Desktop instead of the Start Screen".

this box needs to be checked.

Outlook2016 and search

david

Good afternoon all;

I know this subject has been covered before, but it's pertaining to outlook2016 and search.

one of my client's contacted me yesterday and said, his outlook search stopped working.

no matter if he uses, ctrl+e=search, f3=search, or, even use the advance search ctrl+shift+f,

each of the above choices yielded zero results,

can anyone give a possible reason why?

I did go into the file/options/search, however, everything their seemed to be fine.

hope someone can give a fix or perhaps point me in the right direction.

I recall hearing that outlook 2016 has had some issues with the search.

I must confess, I'm using office 2016, I've never experienced this behavior.

in advance thanks

Hi Guys!

Has anyone had any difficulty when writing emails with jaws?

The reason i'm asking, is that when i write a message and go to send or
after i've sent, and check my sent folder, the message i've sent has
been all jumbeled up.  [Eg] The first line could be at the end of the
email, and the signature could be in the middle.

I was talking to a friend who has a different screen reader, and she
says they all do that.

Is that the case?

Re: Desktop & Windows 10

GV-Knope, John (Greenville)

Mike and Mario,

I do not think that you can boot directly into Windows 10 like you could in Windows 7 and earlier versions. Microsoft is so concerned with security that it does not matter if you use a home or professional version. You still have to click through the lock screen to get the sign in screen. After you enter your password, you focus on the desktop.
Until you mentioned it, I had not noticed that the desktop is not in the tab order. I like being able to focus running programs with ALT+TAB. When I need to focus the desktop, I use WINDOWS+D.
